I love this idea! I plan to order soon to have for next event I'm able to attend, or pole jam or studio I attend. hmmm, I wonder if my hubby would wear one when he goes with me 🙂

I wish I would have kept mine. I had so many 45's, would have been fun to have. You wouldn't believe the first song I bought for a little record player I got for Christmas when I was around 10 yrs old! Couldn't believe I found it on amazon.com. Thanks for age support, my dear veneers, haha

Do you mean first song actually ever bought. My first song was a a kid on a 45 record. Does anyone even know what that is, as most are so young 🙂 I even remember the song, ugh! It's from the 60's and I found it on Amazon, OMG

Welcome! As you can probably tell, you'll love it here 🙂
One thing I need to keep remembering is we all progress at different levels, even with the same moves/tricks/spins.
I realized that focusing on one or two things at a time helps strength and accomplishment, instead of trying too many things at once.
Warming up for me is also something I make every effort to (especially since I've injured myself due to not warming up).
Also hope you can get veena's lessons, they are wonderful; however, make sure to go as much in order as possible.
Again, welcome!

I’m kinda the opposite with hubby. In the beginning we both knew I didn’t know what the heck I was doing, so he witnessed from beginning to now. He saw the fumbles, stumbles, awkward & painful attempts, etc. He even spotted me a lot and helped me off the pole when I got stuck. So now, he is impressed and comments on how I’ve improved, what moves are nice now in comparison to when I first started, etc. As for the pole "dance" part, I’m not good at it so I do have difficult time doing any of that in front of him, or even when I’m by myself https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif We have it in mind that I’m doing pole for fitness so it’s easier to include him. When I attempt dance stuff, we just crack up.
As others said, it gets easier, but also nice to have "your" pole time.
As for dizziness, glad I read this post and will try spotting, cuz the dizziness is just too much for me, and I’m still doing pretty much basic spins; forget spin mode! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif

Gals, unfortunately, I might need to inform it’s not available after all https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif I’m so sorry and feel horrible!!! I’ll update for sure next week, but wanted to let you know in case.
https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_ncool.gif This is how I feel, not cool. Again, if it’s not available, I apologize.

Yay! I’m not the only one!
I *hate* this TG Xpole. Hate it terribly! I am having to re-learn everything I do. I can’t even do the most basic spin on it. Even when I do manage to get a grip it leaves awful callouses on my hands. My thighs are covered in horrible pole burn and no matter how much I squeeze or shift my weight, nothing helps.
I can’t move with this pole either…my body just wont wrap around it and it feels so un-natural. I’ve been poling for a while and have never, ever felt this discouraged.
How long have you had the TG xpole? Is it x-pert (spinny)? I’m asking cuz I got my TG xpert around September this year. I’m not that experienced, probably beg/interm poler, but struggled with my lil mynx ss long enough. I was just as frustrated and thought I made a major mistake getting the TG. However, I stuck with it and really like it now. I’m able to accomplish more than on the ss and had to learn to adjust grip, etc.
I believe spins are tougher with it, veena and other advanced polers can give advice in that area. I do basic spins on it now and again. I tend to be on the lazy side when it comes to spins.
My body looked and felt like I got beat up within the first couple of weeks and thought how do I tell my husband this isn’t going to work. He gave me $$ to get it for my bday. After much agonizing, I had no choice but to stick with it and I don’t think about looking into chrome anymore.
I hope it works out for you as time goes by.
