I am tech challenged but it’s actually really easy! First you need to find a photo uploading site….I like photobucket because it’s really easy to use and free, as long as you don’t upload nude pictures hehe. Once you get your pictures uploaded, at the bottom of the image there will be three html codes. Click on the code that says it’s for uploading pictures to web sites…not sure exactly which code but it’s easy to figure out. When you open up the box to respond to a forum post or start a thread, under the subject line there is a box of buttons. Select the "img" button and this will pop up Now all you have to do is copy and paste the code that photobucket gave you to instert your image between this insert%20copy/pasted%20code%20here and that’s all! Then when you submit your post it should show up.

I have three songs I want to do lol! Maybe I’ll just do a remix of all of them and wear bits and pieces of different costumes. Excellent.

    You know you’re a pole dancer if…

you buy 5 of the biggest bottles of rubbing alcohol you can find at a time and go through them in two months

you look at lingerie/shorts at the store and think "oh i’d look really cute if i wore these to dance to (insert song)!!!"

when it’s your turn to pick a place to go out, there is coincidentally always a pole at that bar and you have the same watered down drink for 2 hours because you’re too busy playing on the pole to rememeber you ordered a cocktail…and dont want to get drunk!

this is my personal favorite…when your family/husband/roommate no longer comes running when they hear big thuds!!!!!!

I am sooo sad MJ died, I still can’t believe it. I used to be seriously obsessed with him when I was younger, my mom would tape all his videos on a VHS tape for me so I could watch them all and I would put the tape on, get a mitten out of the closet, put it on and pull a piece of hair down in front of my eyes and dance around the living room trying to copy his moves, crotch grabs included. Ok that was embarrassing…ahem..anyway…

I think that it’s really sad how badly he was scrutinized by the media. I do agree it was odd that he had friendships with so many young children but I honestly think it was because he was robbed of a real childhood since he grew up with the entire world watching him. I don’t think it’s far fetched to think that he befriended children because he wanted to try to find some to way to experience the childhood innocence he never got to have. A lot of people who were child stars don’t seem to have a normal adulthood but I feel like MJ was criticized moreso for this than other celebrities. He was never convicted of anything so I think it’s really unfair of people to assume the things they do about him. Especially now that he’s dead, it is so disrespectful to keep berating him. Let it lie people! No matter what he did in his personal life, he was still the best entertainer and performer of our time. The fact that when he died he crashed Google, Twitter and AIM says a lot about his stature I think. I’m sure most people have some sort of childhood memories related to him regardless of how they felt about him as a person. I know I will miss him!

Thats great youve lost 10 lbs! I lost about 30 lbs total over a period of 2 years and i had the same problem..ive been trying to lose 10 more for about a year now and it just wont budge https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif A lot of times you might need to shake up your eating pattern…your body might be used to the lower calories its getting so if you eat a little extra for a few days (just about 200-400 cals extra than normal, nothing crazy) that might help you shock your system into losing weight. There’s a theory that your body can figure out how much fuel you give it in terms of food. There’s another method called the zig-zag eating pattern where you eat the same amount of calories in total but you redistribute them differently…so say your weekly total is 8400 (1200 cals/day) one day you might eat 1200, the next day 1400, the next day 1000, etc etc so at the end of the week it all adds up to 8400. That method did work for me for a while. 1200 cals is the absolute minmum you should eat if youre dieting (which you probably know already https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif ) so you may need to adjust that to your specific caloric needs. You probably are eating more since you’re working out. But try that and it might help https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Ooh I almost missed this post! I’m glad you did a recap, maybe this can be my official "amateur night" thread since I’ve done a few now haha!!!!

I think Joel summed it all up better than I even could….the two sisters were really amazing on the pole. At one point one of them was swinging around on the ceiling beams, it was quite intense!

One thing that did happen to me that was kind of strange/exciting was that they had all the "amateurs" corralled into this cabana area where I waited last time except this time they had a pole in there so all of us that could pole took some turns doing tricks. Not to be haughty but I think my pole skills were on par with the rest of the dancers and a lot of them had been dancing for a while. I had really heavy knee length boots on and the pole was a 50 and I use a 45 so I was a little nervous about doing any tricks in case I missed them and looked stupid….but I nailed EVERY TRICK! It was soooo weird! One girl tried to do a shoulder mount and missed…so then I stepped up to do one assuming I would miss it too because I only get them about half the time I try and NEVER with shoes on…and I did it on the 50 pole with the million pound boots on too! Then I did a bodywave and I even taught another girl how to do superman…it was just insane. I think it must have been reverse performance anxiety or something because I did way better than I do when I’m at home practicing by myself!

And you’re still my baby momma even if you’re married to someone else https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Hmm it could be early stages of carpal tunnel, not to scare you! There are ways you can prevent it though. I know this sounds dorky and it might be uncomfortable for a few nights but if you sleep with the wrist braces on, it will help relax the nerve that’s causing the shooting pains. Also definitely wear them when you’re on the computer (I say that while sitting here not wearing mine..bad Glitter! bad girl!) and one of those squeezy exercise balls can help too. I have CT and weve been so busy at work my hands are killing me from decorating so i feel your pain. try that stuff and see if any of it helps!
