    Hey Ya’l
    I have 6 poles in the Studio plus the one of the Main stage for the instructor making a total of 7.
    At the Girls Night Out on Saturday we rotate going in groups. It’s kinda hard to explain if you have never been to one of our GNO’S but everyone get equal time on the pole . At the end of the event we do what we call a " Shout Out , Show Out or 15 Sec of Fame" Where depending on how many ladies attend, each person comes up to the Main stage and does her own thing while the rest of the ladies shower you with Pole Waxers Cash , like they do at the club . No one feels uncomfortable, everyone hoots and hollars and whistles at each other making each person up feel thier best.
    Here is the video we have up of our GNO on Saturday for ya to checkout

    http://www.polewaxersuniversity.com/SaturdayGirlsPoleDancingNightOut.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

    Because it is a drop in party/class i realy couldn’t tell you if I would be packed or not especially since it is the xmas season. As most of you all know drop in’s are a hit or miss. Just depends on who feels like pole dancing that night. We could have any where from 1 to 30 ladies attend. We just never know until they show up.
    Either way do our best to make sure everyone has a great time. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

    I’m short and compact in size plus have little hands, so I use our 1.75 size Dance pole instead of our 2 Inch Out Side Diameter. I love my smaller 1.75, one thing I will say is that I have both sizes in my studio so ladies who struggle with the 2 Inch don’t seem to half as mush with this one.

    Oooh georgiapeach thanks for posting that. I’m a half size person, 7.5, thinking I should go up to 8? I don’t know how true to size they are but I’m looking at something closed-toe right now so I’m afraid to go down to a 7 as my pleasers are a 7 and they wedge my toes uncomfortably even though theyre open toe.

    I know what you mean about them " wedging your toes" It HURTS my big toe on the out side and my baby toe , then my toes go numb! I have to wear open toe shoes, the only time i ever wear close toe is when I wear boots, but because I had broken my ankle my left foot is bigger at the ankle than my right so, if i have to by a size up, so I go to a size 7 instead of 6 1/2 plus I have thick calfs so that’s always a pain in the booty when i go to by boots. Thank goodness companies have now come out with the " Thick Calf " Boots or i’d be up a creek with out a paddle.

    Here is a great site also.
    I have purchased plenty of shoes from this site I have pasted & copied here for you. The last 2 that I had purchased have last me for the last 5 years,
    ( the last 3 years of dancing in Atlanta, and 2 years dancing in my studio )
    They last, they aren’t cheap and going to fall apart, atleast none of the ones that i have ever purchased have.
    You can get shoes as low as $5.99 in the specials section on thier site.
    I found some i believe in your size, even though they do not light up etc… for the money you realy can’t complain.
    Like I said , Ive never had a problem with any of the shoes that I have ordered from them, and they ship out pretty quickly.
    Here are the ones I said I think I found in your size.

    http://www.jante.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=284" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ( $6.99 White )

    http://www.jante.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=350" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ( Boots , Black $15.00 )

    http://www.jante.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=283" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ( I have these in both baby blue and pink, these are My FAV’S & LUV LUV LUV THEM ) $15.00

    But these are all under the special section of the Jante website here is the direct link

    http://www.jante.com/shop/index.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

    Happy Shoe shopping.

    Pole Climbing is a challenge when you first start and can easily become frusterating.
    I tell my girls who are just starting out the following maybe it will help a little:

    If you are right handed but your right hand high on the pole, then place your right leg on the pole. When you bring your left leg up to the pole place it in the same position as your right leg ( both legs behind the pole to start ) then sqeeze with your knees, but you must lock your foot, by locking your foot we mean your foot has to be flexed and stiff in the upright position, not pointed down ( this is what we call locking your foot ) once you squeeze your knees pull up. Very important to keep the pole at the knees, if you let the pole slide between your thighs then you have no way to pull up because it is sortof like an inch worm going up. When you want to go up again push off with the first leg you placed on the pole by sliding the first leg up the pole and putting it in the same position as you started, bring the second leg now infront of the pole then sqeeze your front leg at the calf and knee into the pole while you are squeezing the back leg at the top of your foot and shin to the pole then stand up again keeping the pole at the knees not in between the thys so that you can stand up. We have found that it is easier for ladies who are first learning to climb to wear a pair of gogo type boots , the vinyl kind. This helps you stick to the pole better until you get the hang of it.
    This is the best way I can try to describe it for you. I’m sure StudioVeena has a video up somewhere for you to review . Good luck..and don’t give up.

    You did great for your first video! How funny about your song.. we just had a bachelorette pole N chair party here at the studio, and we did the chair routine to this song… ( They picked the song out ) I hadn’t heard this song in a LONG time… until this past week… But good job on your video. You did great. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
