tell him that you really want to refine your moves and make a routine for him and you want it to be a surprise! make it a good idea to him too to sit out. that way when you show him something, it’s special and it’s his little surprise.

you can’t blame him for being interested!

Oh no that’s a difficult situation. I’m lucky because I can have mine at my boyfriend’s place. Will you have the pole in your bedroom, because then it might not be too difficult to hide? Why have you had to take a month long break? Also, are you able to put up and take down your pole by yourself. I’ve only put mine up and taken it down once, but if I want to use it in the next week while my bf is away, I’ll have to put it up all by myself, and i’m worried i won’t be able to! I even found it difficult just to hold the dome against the ceiling while my bf unwound it! Eeek!

i will be storing it in my bedroom but i will not be using it in my bedroom, as my bedroom is about the size of a jail cell. so i can only use the pole in our living room. since i do not have my pole yet, and the bottom loaders are supposed to be coming out in the spring, my impression is that i will be using a bottom loader when i get one, so i will be able to put it up myself. i’ve had to take a month long break because i go to school in baltimore and go to pole classes there 5-6 days out of the week when i am in school, but i’ve had to come home for winter break and the studio close to my father’s place is way more expensive than my studio at school, so i can’t afford to pole here.

That’s so funny you dreamt that. The whole press a button and the pole unfolds is great.. maybe you get on to xpole about that https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif I was dreaming about poles the other night, can’t remember exactly the dream, but I woke up the the apartment buzzer going off.. it was my new pole being delivered! Poling on the brain https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I’ve only started and haven’t told anyone about my pole except my boyfriend.. don’t really know how to!

haha, well i’ve been poling for like 2 months (not including this awful month long break i’ve had to take) and pretty much everyone in my life knows about it other than my father. but i really want to have an xpole this summer, but it seems as though i will be staying in his house again this summer, so i’m gonna try to use it during the weekdays while he is at work, but i’m terrified of him coming home earlier than expected and him walking in to seeing me by a pole. i’d have no idea what to say.

if you still have the pole skivvies, can you hold them for me? once i get back in baltimore, i’d like to buy them and i can pick them up from you there. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

    pay attention to this part:

Dr. Sue Ann Wee was taking a pole-dancing class during the summer, when she hurt herself and was stunned to find the instructor continue on with the class, paying no special attention to the injured student.

also, when you click the "Video" link on the top of the page, it is the first one to play, however when I go in to my videos, it is not listed so I cannot delete it…also when I try to upload the floor/chair one again it works and then says "File Uploading Error" and deletes it immediately.

i’m experiencing a similar problem. i just tried to upload a video of me doing a chair/floor dance and all that is showing up when you click it (correct name and description) is a pole video i uploaded a couple weeks ago…

i did use a level so that can’t be it.. i’ll have to check the dome part.
Veena, do you mean the bar that goes it the dome is to far up, or the little nut thing that stops the bar from moving is too tight?
    thanks! =)
maybe there is some hope after all…

i think she means the pole itself. so when you are tightening the dome to the ceiling, you are overdoing it. she talks about it some in her how to put up an xpole video.

December 31, 2009 at 3:05 pm in reply to: Question about specific pair of shoes

any way you could tell me how thick the heel is on these? i LOVE LOVE LOVE them, but the studio i go to has a policy about shoes, and the heels have to be thicker than the size of a quarter. any way you could compare them to a quarter and tell me if they are thicker?
and, moving on, all of my shoes are ellie and i LOOOVE them. they are so comfortable and i’ve never had a problem with them. i danced 5 days a week for a MINIMUM of 2 hours a day last week in ellies and they held up totally well. i also abusive the hell out of my heels. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_tongue.gif

hi freakiel- i just checked & the heel is about the size of a dime at the tip. even if you cant wear them at yr studio, i think you should get them because they are hot https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

thank you SO MUCH for doing that for me! that was sweet. yes, they ARE hot and i think i will get them when i get a pole for my place. thanks again! i really appreciate it.

god, i love you lulu. so damn hot. i miss you girls and xpose so badly already! remember how i told you the place near my home is $15 a class? well there is a $25 new membership fee on top of that! insane! i don’t know if i’m gonna be able to go because i’m really stretched for money. so it seems like pushups, situps, stretching, and weight lifting for me!

as soon as i get back we should find a day we can both go to pole play and mess around again!
