I would love to buy a large one piece mirror, but when I started out I had only a small car so i bought 2 packs of cheap wave edge mirror tiles from IKEA and made a mirror wall. It works fine, (you can see it in my profile) but if you can transport a big mirror i say go for that option as there wouldn’t be annoying lines in the way.

nice!! i already have a really cute costume…an alice in wonderland costume! it’s an authentic looking dress, not a slutty looking one (not that i am opposed to that sort of thing lol) i love it so i’m going to wear that i think for my challenge…i just have to pick a song now lol
This one jumped into my mind! I know it may feel a bit done before with Felix but it does go with the Alice in Wonderland theme https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif these are great!
you may also be a pole dancer if
the only tool kit you own contains 1 large spanner, an alan key and two tensioning rods,
you go through so many bottles of windex, people think you must live in a glass house
and your enthusiastic babble about "caterpillar" and "butterfly" has your friends convinced you’re a closet entomologist https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif

MemberSeptember 30, 2009 at 11:56 am in reply to: Practicing spin mode – getting really sick /:I used to get sick just pole dancing on a static pole! usually when I was getting a bit too into it and trying to do too many spins too quickly. it got much better with time so iam hoping it will be the same for the spin mode.
I haven’t used my pole properly in soin mode yet (only one or two spins), and after reading your post I will take it easy. Thanks for the warning https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif -
my doctor said i could try after 3 months but she didn’t really know what pole dancing involves, when I exlpained some of the moves she changed her mind and recommended i wait 6 months.
It’s been 4 months and it is very hard walking past my pole and not being able to jump on. I did a few spins the other day and ended up with a sore lump near the scar that lasted for a few days so now i am going to wait the other 2 months before doing anything like that.
I am starting belly dance classes next week- hoping the ab work will get me back in good condition for poling. -

https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif love it!
I sometimes think about people I don’t know that well coming to the house and seeing my pole, but I feel it is my house and if they are going to cast judgement on me about it, then they are not welcome. I am not going to take down my pole everytime I have visitors.
I gave my permananet pole to my sister who put it up under our parents house, and our dad just told people it was a support structure https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif
As for my son, he is only 4 months old so i have a bit of time before I have to worry about that, but will explain it as fitness equipment.

Radiohead’s how to disappear completely is lovely for slower stuff, as is goldfrapp’s pilots or utopia. -
I was dancing up to 3 months pregnant then my Doc suggested I stop. It was getting tiring towards the end and just felt wrong. I would recommend getting medical advice and err on the side of caution- my obstetrician was not aware of how physical pole dancing really is.
Congrats on the bub! Mine has been out 3months now and I can’t wait to get back on my pole https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
