@roxi: this sounds really great! i won´t be there, it´s just so far away and quite expensive, too.

i didn´t know about all those workshops, they sound really exciting, i hope i´ll get the chance to try some in the next year, too!

wish you a great weekend in hamburg!

yes, definitly! i hate that there aren´t more pole events here in germany, only in stripper clubs or when you go to those only two competitions in know (miss poledance and polefitness)…

    viele grüße!

although it´s sometimes hard, i think critic is the best way to improve. you just have to get used to it. also try to see yourself sometimes a bit critical, too, then you sometimes notice the same stuff as others do and when they tell u about it, you are prepaired.

for dancing style i think the best style is the one you feel comfortable with. if u feel the music and the movement of your body and it feels good, than the sensuality will come, too. and if this doesn´t work, don´t care either! than it´s just not your style and there are so many others great styles of which one perfectly will match to you. maybe your just a perfect trick-poler, which is impressive, too! 😉

i also got bruises from this move at my forearm of the upper hand. you should try to put less weight on your arm which goes around your back when you´re doing the cradle invert.

to exit, you could go into the archer, than into a pencil from there you can just sit up or put your feet on the ground like a reverse iguana mount. someone posted a youtube-video to one of my vids where a poler goes directly from the cradle invert into a archer and than back on her feet. if you do this fast it looks a bit a like a backflip =)

i tried it this morning, too. it worked really good, although me and my pole weren´t warmed up really good. i did the iguana and shoulder mount in a freestyle dance without wiping the pole as i normally have to do it before those moves ^^ i´ve made a vid of it and post it later

thx to evamp for sharing. these websites are great, especially the 2nd one because you can find moves by their difficulty and the little clips are also helpful.

i think this is from poler to poler different. i haven´t been using grip aids yet, too. just tried some but never kept using them. i think if u feel unsafe it´s good to use them. especially for learning difficult and new tricks.

i now bought some mighty grip gloves, because some days my hands just have no grip or when i do a long pole session and my hands get too sweaty they might be useful.

but i think every move and trick can be done without grip aids and it´s important that u do not get addicted, because this might be bad for your grip, when you once don´t use a grip aid.

i heard that the traditional thing to clean the pole is gin =) put i think u can use anything what includes some alcohol, so nail polish remover may work, too. just try it
