I’ve never used one on either of my poles. I have short ceilings so I need every little inch available. The adjuster cover covered the top few inches of my poles and I just don’t feel safe placing my weight on that piece, if it ever fell when you were on it you would be screwed!

A coworker invited me to come with her to a class. I was looking for a new workout at the time and it sounded like fun. I was hooked after just one class!

Ok well I’m starting to feel sick today but I did a bit of shoulder and forearm conditioning with my resistance band. Tomorrow is a cardio day, my jazz dance class is in the evening and is so much fun!

I’m in! I’ve just finished Veena’s 30 day take off and it was fantastic. I am now trying to create my own workout schedule in a similar way. This will help encourage me to follow my daily plan.
I have to admit that I didn’t work out today, but I honestly had zero opportunity. Today was supposed to be a flexibility day, if I have time I can do it after tomorrow’s conditioning. 🙂
I’ll add more info about my goals and plan later, it’s late and I am tired. Good luck to everyone.

Thanks ladies! I took a rest day today and just did a little foam rolling. I also began planning a weekly workout routine that includes 2 days for strength conditioning, 2 days for flexibility, 2 days for cardio, and 1 rest day. It sounds like a lot but I’m alternating upper and lower body focus each day. Also none of these should take even an hour, i need to keep it reasonable or i won’t do it. And this is just a starting point, I will adjust as need be when my body tells me it’s too much or not enough.

I actually tried day 17 last week because I was curious. It looks like her legs are in lotus with her arms threaded through and she’s balancing on her tail bone?
So my first attempt was to put my legs together and then thread my arms through but it didn’t work. Then I put my arms through as I was putting the legs together. That was fine it was the balancing that was tricky at that point. I don’t know if that helps but good luck everyone. Hopefully I’ll get caught up soon. 🙂

I love Veena’s “up and over” stretch. Using a resistance band you can easily adjust the intensity and it feels so good!

Took off a couple days over the weekend. It was Thanksgiving here in Canada and I had a couple of family get togethers, one of which was out of town. But I’m back at it today. Day 28 done!

I can’t tell what her feet are doing in the picture. Is she sitting on both her heels, heels outside hips or in a lotus/half lotus? Veena, I can’t tell if you’re in a full lotus or not either.

    I’m still here! Here’s 7-11.

Day 8 was so hard! I could actually reach my foot but my shoulders would turn down so I used the strap to keep my shoulders open and facing up.

I tried to give myself some longer legs for Days 10 and 11 but I still could not reach my heel with both hands. Oh well, the shoes look great anyway. 😉

Leaving it mounted in drywall alone is very unsafe! There must be places that do not have this gap between the ceiling and the drywall otherwise what is the drywall attached to? Get some help and install it correctly in a stud please.

Wow that’s awesome I have seen the waterbowl before but not with a pole on it! I love the hair flips when the water goes everywhere. But I want to know how she can climb out of the water and right onto the pole? We all know how well a cold body sticks to a pole. 🙂

Killer D. Have you tried different combinations of all those grips as well? Many of us have found success by using 2 or 3 in combination.

Thank you Veena. My low back is naturally bendy and my shoulders have a good ROM which makes my back bends look okay but i find it hard to stretch those pesky hip flexors because my back just takes up the slack. 🙂
