What a great story! Congrats on your awesome accomplishments! I took up poling at the ripe age of 39 and am still amazed what our bodies are capable of! Ugh I hate grip problems! I have a coated lil minx and find that the temp of the room really affects my grip. I love Dry Hands! It’s the best I’ve found so far. Hi! I would encourage you to take at least a few classes. If you’re interested and are around the San Fernando Valley there is a really great studio in Woodland Hills. A couple of the teachers are on this site. Stella https://www.studioveena.com/StellaBella" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is our Thursday teacher, Anjel https://www.studioveena.com/Anjel" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; teaches on Tuesday and Erica, who is in my July challenge vid with me, teaches Sunday nights. All the classes are taught based on who is there. It’s really laid back and we don’t have levels. Let me know if you need more details. The prices are really reasonable and the owner is usually willing to work with people who want to buy a series. So I was going to do In the Closet but I had a really bad practice to it tonight. Just not feeling the song. I would love to do You Are Not Alone, which I totally feel when Im dancing to it, but its such a sad song that I feel weird doing anything sexy to it. Opinions please??!
