Oh! Def let us know how your training with her goes! I took a workshop of hers once, and she really was so wonderful and inspiring. I would LOVE to do her Next Level Training, if only I could afford it!

Lol. It's true though- I've taken classes with Amanda at Pole Dancing School and she's great!

Hi, I'm in London too. Asides from L'ecole de Pole, Pole Dancing School is good as well!

Thanks for all the info! I’ve been thinking about the omni, but need to see if I have the space, and if they’re available in the UK. I like the frame, since I rent and can’t drill holes into the ceiling. I really want one after reading all this though!

Thanks for both the links! Sounds like it’s going to be an expensive weekend, but I look forward to meeting some polers in London!

I’m moving to London just before too- what perfect timing! I’m not on the email, but just registered on the IPAAC site. Are the tickets already on sale?

Yes, she was amazing! I was at the IPC competition, and the audience loved her. So great to see that pole really is for everyone!!! I think the competition’s organizers will post all the videos later, as they have in the past. In the mean time, I found this video of clips from her performance:

I have no dance or gymnastics background, except for ballet when I was 5. And I distinctly remember that even then I couldn't do a full split. However, after alot of practice (for pole), now I have my front split on both sides, though I'm working on getting into them more quickly! I even have a slight oversplit now (have to be really warm though)- working on making that better too. As for side splits, I'm still about 5 inches off the ground, but getting there….. It's always a work in progress, right? I definitely think my pain threshold has gone up since starting pole.
