I’ve am about to apply for Francis L. Dean & Associates, Inc. Website is http://www.fdean.com and the type of insurance you need is called “Specialty Insurance Coverage for Fitness Class Facilities”. This covers pole. I am planning to call them tomorrow to make sure it covers poling with heels. This was one of the companies Aerial Amy suggested.

I’ve been trying to build clientele before I added more class times, but it seems as though the potential clients are turned off by the lack of additional classes. Should I just bite the bullet and add 1 more day/2 classes or just wait it out?

Definitely need to follow this post! My business partner and I are renting space from a yoga studio and are having classes. We hope to expand to our own studio one day, but are taking it slow so that we really learn the business/legal aspects. The posts here are very inspiring and realistic. Thanks ladies!!!

LOL CapFeb! I read her responses and she is great!! I think at this point both parties are not going to be satisfied at the responses given, therefore someone should just take the high road and say sorry "politely" with no jabs, and let it go.

My current mirrors are from ikea, they are $120/piece. When I didn't want to pay that much, I looked on Craigslist and found one of the big bathroom mirrors for $20. Also try the Goodwill. When people are remodeling bathrooms, they tend to donate mirrors because their so large and they don't want to deal with throwing it away.

I saw on FB that Kyra, Marlo, and Michelle are no longer affiliated with the X-Pert training. That may have something to do with the long response time.
