OK, I was talking about the move Legend does, not the Full Moon trick. My problem has always been that my arm/wrist feels like it would get twisted and snap. Just have to remember to let it go! I'll give it a shot once I'm better–been quite ill for a few days and no sign of letting up 🙁

I guess I'd need to see a video of how to do it from the arrow. It would make more sense to me to make the bottom leg the hooked leg, then slide the top leg down.

Top hand is fine, it's just it feels like it's going to snap off (like Shellectra said!) when I flip.

It's straining my top wrist, which is the wrist I injured a while back in kickboxing. It's never seen the same since, so I have to be pretty careful.
When you go into it from a jacknife, do you let go with the top hand before landing? Or do you hold it on the pole til the very end?

Yes Veena, that's it! So I see you used the true grip and came down on the other side. Do you think that's the easiest way? I have a weak wrist and don't do the twisted grip, so it's good to see the true grip way!

Ahh, that's gotta be quick! Thank you!

Superman to Teddy sounds awesome! I can't wait to try it 🙂

I've tried one now several times, and to be honest I hate it compared to the original X-Stage. The pole wobbles too much for my liking, and I find that I have much less grip on the Lite than on the original. I agree, though, that's they're too stable to flip over.

I just found it! http://poledancedictionary.com/moves/385/gemini-mount/
I tried it and found it easier to make it a Brass Monkey mount rather than a Gemini mount, but that's the idea! Calling it an Iguana Mount handstand also makes sense 🙂

This is what I'm taking about, although they don't hook any legs on: http://poledancedictionary.com/moves/324/extended-handstand-variation/

That is amazing!! It reminds me of those one-handed handstands into Geminis that people do to invert. (I'm sure there's a better name for those but I can't think of them offhand.)

If she can lower herself from this position to sitting on the stage in front of the pole, she can Shoulder Mount up off of the stage and onto the pole.
