My studio just bought 8 stage lites and they are awesome!! I have performed on an SSA and moved the thing on a reverse grab.

I had mine under a lil mynx out in my garage for almost 3 years without it shifting. The panelling piece is 4×8. Don't see an issue on carpeting but I would probably put that carpet foamy thing between the two (like the shelf liner stuff). The panel was $20.

emotioncatcher, you should not be putting that much pressure on your heels. For a long time I had a piece of panelling that I bought at Home Depot under my pole.

Agggghhh. There was a thread on this a little while back and I thought it was started by Mommabear but I cannot find it!

Is there a reason that you are doing a cleanse? And unless you know exactly what you are doing with a colonic they should NEVER be done. After a colonic you have to replace what is washed away or your intestinal tract will have even more issues because not only the pH but the chemistry (bacteria) are way out of whack.
Most people believe that cleanses will help them lose weight but much of this is hype put out by companies trying to make money. If you want to detox, start eating right. You will go through a period where you feel ill and quite possibly will break out but it will eventually clear.
Unless you have been on antiobiotics or antifungals for an extended period of time there is absolutely no reason to put yourself through such a thing.

There is a lot of info I believe on the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty site.
http://www.dovemovement.com/?utm_source=dove.com&utm_medium=dovesite&utm_campaign=dovemovement82010
They also had a bunch of videos out…the one I remember most was why women have a skewed look at beauty. It took a mosdel from when she stepped on site to all of the makeup and then into photoshop before the picture printed. Here is the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYhCn0jf46U
I also remember quite a while back Jamie Lee Curtis did a spread in a magazine of what she looks like without the makeup and everything else. It spurred quite a few big name stars to do the same. http://www.more.com/news/womens-issues/jamie-lee-curtis-true-thighs
One site that I find extremely uplifting is the Operation Beautiful site: http://operationbeautiful.com/
Lastly, Amy kust blogged about an article that showed all sorts of athletes and what their bodies look like. http://ninamatsumoto.wordpress.com/2010/12/18/athletic-body-diversity-reference-for-artists/

"As I told Charley in chat, many of the people in this world that make the biggest difference are also the ones who are acknowledged the least…….."
This is SOOOOO true!

I have one (though not rotator) and let me tell you….it WILL tear skin, especially during warm/humid days. If you have air conditioning you should be fine but I do not and typically any days over 75 I have issues with too much grip.

As far as the magnets go, you will be hard pressed to find a magnetic tray. Most are going to be plastic or aluminum.

It was Jenn Pole Lush. Actually the move that Alethea does in the vid that Bendie posted is the one I am incorporating into my routine. It is an outside leg hook into a sort of a half side spin. It will right me, face me in the direction of the audience and then while on my side I can pull my leg up toward my face and place it on the ground next to the other leg. I am just trying to find other ways to get up off the ground besides the typical stand.
