I will warn that if you are buying pole stuff as "business" expense to talk to a financial person. There was a lady here recently that had years of writing off business suits and such and ended up having to pay back taxes for several years (she even had separate closets for those clothes that she used for business purposes). You can only take a deduction for work-related clothing if your work requires something that would not be suitable for "ordinary wear." Unfortunately booty shorts, tank tops, sports bras, etc are seen as items that can be used for ordinary wear and are not allowable as a deduction.

I go through spurts. I am always on the lookout for cute tanks and booty shorts and am currently talking to an ebay seller about 2 pairs of foot undeez that I really want. This past week I think I bought 3 pairs of shorts and 2 tanks, but they were all $5 and under.

This video shows how the sport pole ships which looks like it ships in the case.
Mine is the XPert which is all in boxes.

Did you take pictures and fill out a report when you picked it up at Fedex? I am not sure if they package the Kendra pole the same as they do the XPert but mine was NOT in the case when they shipped it. Mine was all neatly in tubes in a compartmentalized box and the cases were folded up and wrapped in plastic. I will also add that if the person you ordered from is not a distributor you may have no recourse through X Pole.

You may want to get in contact with Amy from the forum (Also Aerial Amy if you google). She lives in NYC and knows the studios and their locations. I know of:
Shockra (Amy teaches here)
NY Pole Dancing (AKA…USPDF headquarters)
Body and Pole (Steven Retchless, Rebecca Starr, Marlo)
S Factor
But I am not sure of where specifically they are located.

I remember the studio I went to had gotten some samples and I rememebr thinking they looked awful suspicious.
If you have never seen these, they are little ziploc baggies about 1.5" x 1.5" with white powder inside.

@Doodle…I should clarify a bit. When he performs he typically has the wider fabric but 90% of his classes are for kids, so he has a smaller width in the studio. I can get the grip, it is just we do sets of inverts/pikes/rollouts and after about 5 or 6 my hands start to cramp.
