So I just did a yelp search…looks like there are a bunch of places that have poles:
Hopefully this is helpful.

If all else fails call Randy with LM. I don't know a whole lot about the vaulted ceiling adapter.
-
The original instructions had you tightening it in place but I beleive this is what caused the problems that people had with eating their ceiling. I believe that the new instructions say to make sure that the pole is exactly at the height it needs to be before pushing it into place. This will cause the least amount of damage to your ceiling.
The part of the pole that sits on the regular mount is actually a little wider than the mount intself, so when you spun it into place you could physically be spinning your pole into the drywall. I am not sure how the pole sits on the vaulted ceiling mount. It looks like the top of the pole is only going to hit metal. If you do tighten it in place I would make sure that you are indeed turning just the pole and not the mount itself.

Once you set the height it is very easy to set up and take down. As other have said, less than 5 minutes after that first time. I have had mine up and down probably about 5 times in the last month. I just leave all the main pieces together and take the top dome and cap off.

Aerial Amy had written about some callus shaver that she bought. Can't remember where she talked about it but she was referring to something like this:

The only reason it would be easier to powdercoat over stainless is because it is the bare metal already. If I remember correctly they have to acid etch or sandblast the item first before powdercoating…since the chrome is already a coating I would think they would have to strip it off first.
-
I am not sure if you can powder coat over chrome. I would talk to a local car bodyshop that specializes in it. I think you might have to have the chrome stripped off first. Not sure about this. The collar that sits on Pole A I would not try to powder coat and you will have to be sure that the holes in the poles are not changed in diameter. Does X offer their stainless for the XSL?
Although changing the color of the stage….hmmmmmm.

I will add that neither the PS nor the XPole will leave marks (for the most part).

There are 2 videos out.

Veena states the dimensions of the stage. I will tell you from experience they are not great for floorwork, especially if you are tall.

It appears that the thumbnail is created by capturing a frame from your video. I noticed that you have a lot of black screens during yours and it probably just captured that image.

There are a few threads regarding this….maybe there will be some help in there.

Main theme seems to be a flash issue?

The queen of this move by far is probably Pantera (at least in my opinion). She does it in about every one of her videos. If you really want to be freaked out, look for the Texas competition ones where she performs (I think Miss Texas Pole Star). She does a death lay on a tin ceiling at about 20 feet in the air!!

This just hit the UK news? JLH has been taking classes at S Factor for at least 3 years if not longer.

You really need to go up and over and the only way I know how to do that is with a shoulder mount. When you use a regular invert you are going to have issues getting your body twisted to the front of the pole and possibly even getting the proper body positioning to have your feet locked. I have never seen anyone do this from any other way than a shoulder mount.
