Hello I was a home poler and did it alone and learnt from youtube. Keep practicing you will get there.

Thanks Mystical. I will see what the physiotherapist suggests when I see them

Hiya Veena. I’ve had hip pain for 4 years, so I went for a scan and yes I was given my diagnosis and sent away! It’s a disc generation at L4/L5 with a broad based central protrusion. I asked if I could continue poling and he just said “why not”, so very vague. I’ve poled twice since my break since June and I got more discomfort and tingling in my back after, so maybe I need a longer break. I am waiting to see a physiotherapist, hoping they will be more help.

I’ve been just been diagnosed so would be grateful for advice.

Happy Birthday Veena 🎊🎂ðŸŽ

I think it’s really important to take a break. I have had to take a break now due to injuries. When I go bavk I won’t be over doing it and taking it easy from now on.

Maybe your in a small space? I have that problem and abit restricted on spins as I sometimes whack my foot on the wall! So maybe that is at the back of your head whilst practicing.
-
Yes i do! Happens more so to moves i don’t practice much.

That’s the best routine I’ve seen in a while. So gripping to watch.

I’ve had my chrome xpole for a year and it’s still slippy!

Be careful with this, I fell from it. Be sure to not put your hands too high up.

I learnt soley off youtube. Hard work working moves out though.

I don’t take time off at this time although I can’t seem to do as much! This site is great though as we can talk about more or less anything

My x pole is 10 months old and I still find it slippy, more so then my older one. I tried sand papering my other one and it ruined it
-
Teachtrinity I been thinking of buying some mats like that, do they stay in place?
-
I’ve steamed mine a few times too, still not solved the problem.
-
Oh no, what do you think we could do to make it more grippy? My older one was not as bad as this!
