I love B12 shots. I have had them a few times everytime was when I had a cold and right when it was injected was a burst of feel good energy.  Great energy booster and I love how alert I was after.  But I do have a bottle of OTC B12 in my medicine cabinet and I was taking them regularly with fish oil- then I gave them a break for a while.  No reason at all other than being lazy with taking the pill everyday… =/

one workshop that really stood out was Nadia and Mina's double workshop on the Saturday of the convention. I know some of you participate in doubles and there is not a doubles workshop being offered at the convention

Click this link for all the workshops being offered during pole convention weekend at BeSpun.  They have some with Karol Helms and many others. Posted for you ladies just in case there is a workshop you really wanted to try and make it to. =)

ok so I have contemplated going since november… I kept saying why go because I am too beginner to get anything out of it and am not strong enough… Well I decided- why the hell would I tell myself that- any level is invited to this event and can benefit from workshops. I have my plane ticket and hotel booked and paid for- so its official now… I have to stay at the Hilton next to the Marriot because the Marriot didn't have any rooms left.

I wanted to do a VIP workshop with Alesia Vazmitsel but I firgured I will stick with what I have because I think its fair to let the advanced polers has the VIP Spots

Friday- I am doing Lou Landers Beginner Polesations 8:30-9:30pm

Saturday I didnot book anything yet mostly because I am contemplating on what workshop would be best for my level. I may not do one at all.  I obviously wouldn't throw myself into a VIP workshop with Felix Cane or Cleo. LOL

As soon as Jessalynn posts the price for the Costume Design with Amber Ray- I really want to sign up for that

There are a lot of the speaker siminars I would like to go to. And of course I want to watch all the performance that day and night.

Sunday- I am doing the Pole Star Workshop with Anatasia and I have an Alethea Austin Private

I am excited I am doing a private with Alethea- I figured since she will be my last workshop at the Convention I want to focus on strickly stretching and floorwork.

I have seriously been working hard the last few weeks to build as much strength as much I can for the convention and just for pole in general.  I have noticed improvement in my strength and hope this is a good idea for me to go.

I would love to meet some of you Veeners.

Also- Jessalynn has added a TON more workshops for those of you who weren't able to buy what you wanted due to everything selling out.

It took about 9months for my to deal. As any piercer will stress this to you- keep it clean! The only problem i had with mine was i changed my ring and it got a little infection, like a large red bump. I took the new ring out and put the previous one in- took a cup and held warm salt water on it 2 times a day and the infection healed in 5 days. Havent had issues since and have had it for 6 years

If you play your cards right and get your word out and offer something really fun, you will do great. Research different pole studios around the country and make a game plan of what you would want to offer. Its defintely something i could see you doing. You are very talented

Defintely not an expert but i know that people can become really discouraged if they cannot lift themselves up and stop going to class… If i could ever do something like that i would definetly offer things non pole. Like chair dancing, conditoning classes, or stretch classes. You can even do hooping.

xpole brass is pretty grippy. the studio i go to has a 45mm brass. Xpole only sells 45mm in brass so make sure you want that size- which most advanced polers do like the 45. But i have tried a powder coat lil mynx and the xpole brass is grippier.

Now from what I have heard- it may take a while for the brass to become grippy because of it being new and i think they put a film like layer over is for shipping protection…

    Keep us posted!

Awesome! Can't wait to see some of the pics! I know they will come out beautiful! Don't feel bad- if no one at the studio is actually paying for it, then there should be no complaints!

    Good luck! =) =)

Check out pilates also! I have never personally tried yoga, but really want to.  I will eventually.  I take pilates classes from time to time and it really helps with body awareness. I am actually going to a private on tuesday- really excited. I have noticed it has helped with my strength thus helps with pole.

February 19, 2012 at 11:11 am in reply to: …stretch marks from pole?!

i have stretch marks and no kids. I am just genetically prone to them =( and i'm about 25lbs too heavy… i gained the weight about 2 years ago and it was rapid and got them on my sides. They are all white now- but I keep reading about the new  technologies coming out about lazers to remove them… Before there was no possible way to remove the white ones (older stretch marks) and now I am seeing something about a Fraxel lazer being able to do the job…

At first I didn't really believe it but it seems that we have the technology to basically totally remove a tattoo…  I don't know- i was going to have a consultation from a dermatologist in my area that practices with the lazer and to see if he/she could try and remove them… I also read that it could take up to 5 treatments to have them almost completely removed… but everyone's skins different… Has anyone else heard or read about lazer stretchmark removalr?

I have this problem. I over grip on the static because I do most work on spin. I do not have a sprain or anything but I notice I over grip way too much. Can anyone suggest a way to not over grip. I feel like if I grip less, I’m going to fly off.
