While searching for fitness dvd for during pregnancy, I came across this one and thought it was interesting. I have not seen any video clips but it has good reviews.

Thank you for posting this thread. Although I am not christian, my boyfriend is a Christian. I am becoming increasingly involved with his church, which we both enjoy. We both find it hard to keep my "secret activity" from friends and his family. It is difficult when people ask about what my hobbies are. We mostly just say something else though pole is definetly my main hobby. I want to share my passion for pole dance but worry about other peoples reactions.

I had a similar problem my thighs/butt getting stuck getting into the superman and couldn't finish rotating around. I found lowering my top hand just a smudge from where I naturally place it gave me enough room to rotate.

it can take time to get used to being upside down with the head rush. Doing cxr used to make me pretty dizzy. I got over it with practice. To get used to it I didn’t go upside down too long at first and not too often. Moving slowly helps when coming up and down. I found that adequate water intake is key. If you are upside down, your heart is working against gravity and has to adjust.

Thanks. I wanted to be sure I could use it given the price and cost of shipping. No one in the US seems to sell the DVDs.

The DVD trailers seemed advanced. Could more novice or intermediate dancers use the DVDs?

Mine is in the master bedroom that is to be renovated. Definetly remove the ceiling fan. I have kicked it a few time doing the butterfly. There is some cool replacement lighting like LEDs with a more traditional mount that aren't big and can be retrofitted if you still need a light. My pole area is carpeted 10×8 and works okay with the pole in the center. 10×10 would be the best though if you like floorwork depending on your height.

The brass poles at Polelateaz have just the right grip. I have an new xpole in brass. I like it most of the time. I do have to use a heater at 65 so I can stick on the super cold days. My hands do smell a little funny and sometime my caluses have a green tint. The pole is a bit more slipperly than the ones at polelateaz. I would also be interested to know how the brass at Polelateaz is different.

I've usually found it is related to a slippery spot on the pole from another sweaty body part.

I feel it is about the same if you dance continuosly for 30 minutes. I like to add sexy squats and plies to condition my legs. You can also so leg raises. Not sure how to make a lunge sexy yet. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gifI I feel like my lower body needs the extra focus sometimes. If I really freestyle it is moderate to strenous exercise so I count it as cardio. I get about the same workout from my 30 minute cardio interval workouts.

Getting in and out of superman. Can hold the pose but get all tangled and stuck trying to move. Ballerina – can’t figure out how to stay up. reverse grab- some success but usually get sore shoulders.
