as nasty as it sounds, i LOVE cottage cheese lol. i eat it right before bed. Its a slow release protein and helps your muscles heal over night while your body is resting. It also makes your metabolism go all night ( well as long as it takes to release and then digest lol) It kills my cravings for anything i urge at night time.

I saw other ways in my head like from the ex butterfly or just standing from the floor then putting ur foot on the pole an lifting ur other leg up there but the iron x i saw in my head was the one that made more sence lol. but who knows! we should ask her! hehe

kinda looks like she was doing the iron x , then brought her bottom foot ON the pole…. then once she had her balance brought her higher foot up an hooked it behind the pole… then to bend all the way back like that she prob had to bring her hands closer together to get the arch.

as much as it SUCKS to go thru. its a wonderful thing when u get both sides on moves..i am stuck right now with a few combos i want to do bc i cant do certain things on my weak side…like for instance. i would LOVE to get into a knee hold, then go straight into the aysha… NOPE…cant… since i can only do knee hold climbing with my right leg first, an i can only do aysha holding the pole with my left elbow i think?? Well, if i said that wrong, its just not easy for me to go into it with the sides i am comfortable with. sucks! lol.i regret not trying both sides when i first started.

I saw someone wanted an idea on how to get out of it…I have the flying ballerina i think thats what its called. Not sure..i ususally get out of this move by crossing my legs together an just sitting(standing) on the pole.

The first video im doing it on spin, i just cross my legs then get off it and the second video im on static an i get off it into a split. sorry if thats not any help! Since im not really doing much to get out of it. Nothing impressive hehe! hope u find better ways to get out of it! lol. im sure theres alot!

im not sure what may will be. I think it would be cool to make a edited video of a story, thru our dancing. and editing. if that made sence. ( i had a drink so sorry if i dont make sence lol) i just love how veena edited one of her videos. ive tried doing it before an it was a fail. but its something to work at.think it would be fun.

I heared its safer to start on static also if u are new to pole. (i know not to every body) but it certainly was better for me to start on static.

I thnk ppl get stronger on the spinny one bc its way harder… i cant for the life of my do an air shoulder mount on spin mode bc gravity is pushing down at me hard lol… so working on certain going upside down moves while on spin def works u more i would say from expirince. Someoen told me too that spin looked like its cheating lol HELL no its not haha its way harder for me lol…Tho i LOVE both. I love the way my spin moves look better on static and i love dancing when its static but when im actually wanting to do move after move after move in the air, i love it on spin bc everything just seems to flow an its pretty to me like a little ballerina spinny jewlery box thing lol!i was very tired when i wrote this so sorry if i wrote anything silly lol!

yea maybe. i got so sore from aletheas tho i loved it. i had to stop the ballistic stretching. i know thats how she got to be that flexi but it hurt me. my body wasnt ready for it. an i never went back to it =/  so i just took what i liked that i could do out of it an added it to my daily routine. i f the pains u are feeling in your splits like tight or sore feelings i dont think your back an neck pain is affecting that but if its stabbing shooting pains maybe so. I think u just need some healing time =)

you are totally right sensualscimitar. everything connected so its very possible to be tight somewhere else when another feels tight.

I practice my splits at LEAST 4 to 5 days a week. its ok to do it every day but you might get sore and see that u cant quite get into it as easy as u could a couple days ago..(this happend to me, im sure everyones different) its ok to also have a rest day to let the muscles heal so when u get back into it youll notice u can get into it easier) it def takes time i ahve been workin on mine for quite some time an its still a hassel lol.. I do 48 mins of yoga after every practice, I so alot of OTHER leg stretches that will help with the splits, but when i get to the split itself, i dont go ALL the way down on the first breathe ease into it maybe by the second breathe, i go lower with every exhale and i either sit in it for 5 LOOOOOONG inhales an exhales or just one whole minute. Its always good to practice them when u are REALLY warmed up. Sometimes even a hot shower doesnt cut it its good to have some range of motion in the legs before u try.  Patience is the only thing i had to really learn with the splits since i still have problem with them if i dont stick to it on a reg basis.

If anything, id use this to its advantage… Seeing ppl progress above me would make me want it even more! That would be my motivation and my kick in the butt to KEEP going lol an go hard! lol. Youll def have a com back, one day youll wake up and suprise yourself with what you can do.
