Pink was the first person Ive ever seen doing aerial silks and Ive loved watching them ever since! She performed in her ‘Im Not Dead tour’ (I think!) and Ive seen it on MTV a few times! Im addicted to watching her! I LOVE her! Her performance at the Grammy’s was fantastic! Imagine doing aerial silks, singing and being dunked in water all in one song! And her outfit! You definately inspired me to get the test done! I rang on Monday morning to make an appointment (as Monday afternoon is the only time I can go to the doctors cause I work Monday morning and all the rest of the week and they only do emergency appointments on Saturdays! Anyway that bit of info was totally unnecessary but Ive friggin well typed it now so Im not erasing it! So there!) Anyway I told the lady that the appointment is for a smear test and she told me that if I havent had a smear test in the last 3 years (which I havent!) I would have to register with http://www.cervicalcheck.ie. The reason is (and its quite a good one) that in Ireland cervical smear tests are totally free if you’re between the ages of 25 – 60 so you have to register in order for them to keep track of your test and results. I suppose its to see how effective the free system is and how many people are taking up the offer!
So I registered and I have to wait for a few weeks for an ‘invitation’ letter and when I get that I have to make an appointment and quote a number or something like that! But Im proud of myself for even making that little step! And thankful to you Glitter for inspiring me!P.S. You know Ive been chatting to you on FB so Ive said everything that I wanted to say about your biopsy! Im such a lazy cow that I dont wana type it again! I have no idea what it is! BUT I was doing a lot of geminis and I had the same problem! I just gave the geminis a break for a while and it disappeared and has never game back again. Oooooh its such a pity you cant show us so we can help you choose!!! What you have to do is examine each photo as much as possible, like with a magnifying glass if you have to and any photo with even a teeny tiny thing you’re not happy with then put it in the ‘no’ pile! Best of luck my dear x

Well I just dont think that you need them. I actually find this hard!. I mean really hard! I think most of us are programmed not to compliment ourselves and thats really sad isnt it?

I like my mouth. I have nice lips and a good set of front teeth and when I smile I smile nice and big!

Dont worry, your hands will get used to the spins and they wont be so sore. And the same goes for your thighs! Just keep praticing these moves and your skin will get used to it! I promise! I do not recommend gloves, you dont need them!

Aw thats so shit Georgia! I had a pair of Pleaser shoes break on me. I was fastening the strap on them and they just snapped. I was able to get replacements. But the damage wasnt caused by being on the pole so maybe thats why… I never knew that Pleasers werent made for pole dancing! Veena’s lessons are DEFINATELY worth it! She really breaks down everything so well and her lessons are in the order in which moves should be learned. They are safe and easy to understand tutorials! For a long time I had been trying to do a specific spin without success and the first night I bought Veena’s lessons I was finally able to do the spin! And price wise they are also DEFINATELY worth it! They are so inexpensive when you consider the quality of the lessons and what price you could have to pay for studio lessons! Simply put: they way you treat pole dancing is the way your kids will learn to treat pole dancing. If you hide it and sneak around like it’s dirty then that’s what they will grow up to believe. Everyone brings their kids over to play on my pole. They don’t dance on it dirty or sexy. They don’t even know how to think of it as that. Only adult minds make those kinds of associations. They just see it as an indoor playground. And everytime my neices and nephews come over, I teach them tricks.
