Poling is for people of all shapes and sizes! I know for a fact that an x-pole will support your weight as I have seen many plus size polers use them without a problem. Poling is fantastic for your confidence because you will see your body being able to do things you never dreamed of! It is also a great way to lose weight. I have lost about 14lbs since getting into poling propery. (note: I have now put back on that weight but that is because I havent been poling properly since before Christmas because my life was hectic and I had a hamstring injury but Im getting back into it now cause I wanna compete soon!) Poling made me more aware of my body and therefore made me strive towards a healthier shape and lifestyle! This place ROCKS! Ive been a member for over a year and a half and I love it just as much today as I ever did!! Its such a supportive, friendly community and there is loads of excellent advice from all types of polers here! I hope you learn to love it here as much as I do! Veena’s lessons are excellent and decently priced. And on Fridays we have video chat in the chat room. Its on all day and its a great way to get to know some of the people on Studio Veena. How could I have not mentioned the ass, LOL! Its presence is known the minute I walk in any room, it has its own personality, it violates the eyes of unsuspected people with its roundness and greatness, it bounces and they get sprung, it also eats my pole shorts.

I totally freestyle ALL the time! I’ve never choreographed a routine! I just don’t know how!!! I do what Veena said though! I usually pick a certain amount of spins, tricks and hold that I wanna include.
