I did the same thing Mariephi and I left my first class feeling awkward and dizzy. I did go back the following week and found it much easier and by the 3rd class I was starting to learn and having fun.
Since you paid for it already, just stick it out and if at the end of that level you feel still the same you have your pole at home! ((:

I'm game to meet up this coming Tuesday evening the only thing is I work till 5:00 then the traffic at that time can be silly. What time and is the first jam going to be and is it going to be at your place @akaneka?
I live right near the Carlingwood Mall, west end Ottawa if anyone needs a ride? I also have pole mates that I can bring and please let me know what kind of refreshment/snack to bring as well.

I walked into the ladies washroom before pole class and this was the topic they were talking about as well (picking a pole stage name). They selected theirs nick names from their favourite candy bar or candy so when I joined into the conversation mine name seem to be Taffy due to my liking of salt water taffy. I thought it was a cute and original way to select one. (:

Oh this sounds like an exciting challenge!
I remember joining a challenge similar to this but it was hula hooping for 30 minutes each day for 30 days. You had to log in the site daily and write how long you hooped for each day, it kept me motivated seeing everyone daily comments.
I shall have to give it some thought this evening …for tomorrow is Friday!! (:

I'm interested in the catsuit but nervous about my chest (32F) being supported or evening looking ok in a shelf bra.
Is it possible to get the suit made to hide bra straps over the shoulder or if anyone has bought a catsuit that is large in the chest have any advise?

I'm working on Shoulder Mount, Caterpillar, Ayesha, and Bow and Arrow. I would enjoy practicing/learning with someone else that is trying to get these moves (:

I thought I would put this out there to see if there is anyone in this age group that would be interested in pairing up (pole buddies) with me. I find I'm not too motivated to practice, and when I do it seems to always be the same moves.
We can take turns picking a weekly move to challenge ourselves and then we can either video tape our progress or if the timing and time zone works out, we can meet up to pole jam on web cam.
I'm 45 years old and live in Canada, so Eastern Time zone…I'm at a beginner/intermediate level in pole dancing.
I'm just looking to have fun and further my passion in pole dancing and it would be great to share this with someone that is having the same issue as me…

I'm hoping to see others in my age group so that I can get inspired to find my lost pole mojo…just cant seem to get back into it.
Ive also made the decision to stop dying my hair so now Im 45yrs, grey hair… so that mojo is hard to find expecially after take 2 year break from poling…Im so lost most days ):
