I use 1″ MMA interlocking mats from foamtiles.com. The are excelletn for floorwork and are designed to provide maximum shock absorption plus I bought them at a great price. Check them out hope you like them.
After any workout I usually take a hot bath with Epsom salt and massage the muscles and it does wonders to me. I sleep well and wake up the next day not feeling soooo sore. Hoe this helps! =)
