For me and my powder coat I still require a little amount of clothes to stick.

I’m 3 1/2 months and finding it difficult to keep up with anything as well that doesn’t feel like it’s pulling. Looking forward to some responses. In the meantime I’ve just been working on flexibility and I’ll just move from time to time to release emotions.

I believe little mynx suggests using wd40 where the extension and pole meet. I believe it says something about that in their instruction manual on pole care

Chem, What’s your ceiling heights and inner pole extension? Because the recommended is an inch to an inch and a quarter above your ceiling height.. When i did this for my pole the bottom moved after a back leg hook…. I’ve ordered the skid pad but i’m noticing everyone on here is saying you don’t really need it…

I have a 10f 3 in ceiling height and I’m 10f 4 1/2 now on my extension. and it moved.

  • I use Facebook mainly. There are 4 local studios not outside of an hour of where i live. I’ve had my best luck there. I’ve also sold one to a fellow veener in NY.

  • I’ve had 3 so far and I’ve saved for my fourth one. Waiting to move into my new home so i can get a PC lil mynx with pole aria. I’ve always had chrome and have never been able to be as productive at home then i have been in the studio with powder coat so I’m really excited to see my progress faster with the lil mynx.

And even though it will be my fourt im still thrilled.

I sold the first two already though so im just down to my SS PS Star stand alone.

I’m considering getting my stainless steel powder coated by a professional but am nervous about it not turning out right.. i will probably be like ” You need to come to the studio and determine whether or not you can paint mine like it!” haha

I hope everything works out. Luckily you’re working with someone that wants to get it right for you! Good luck!

I’m doing veenas thirty day challenge which include the routines and I’m seeing my strength increase! And muscle soreness for a day or two after! It’s working! And it’s fun and easy to follow along with.

“Just be cause your a new pole dancer or you’re not looking to do those crazy inverts, Maybe going upside down isn’t your thing, That doesn’t make you any less of a dancer then anybody else. No matter what level you are in your pole dancing you can have an understanding of movement and an understanding of your body and you can be a beautiful dancer to watch.”
    -Jeni Janover

This quote REALLY taught be to just slow down and enjoy pole dancing more for the dancing part. And since then, I feel more free. =)

I’ve had two chrome xperts static/spinning. One 45 and one 50 mm. I’ve moved several times and have no issues with damage to the ceilings or floor. Easily removable and installed, I didn’t need assistance. 45 was easier to play on when doing spins but I prefer my 50 mm for leg grips and inverts. I also have a platinum stage star stand alone. It’s awesome. I take it everywhere! Park, backyard, and room in my home, and it’s also been used at downtown markets to advertise a studio to the public. If you’re unsure and before you spend the money go around to different studios and feel and play. We have powder coat lol minx and stainless steel 50mms at mine and I love the powder coat. I can be very productive in class.

I second the apples to oranges comment. If I want flexibility and floor work I’d go with alethea. Veena has great routines for the splits too:-)

I’ve had my star stand alone for two months and love it. Well built and stable. I setup in my spare bedroom and outside on a concrete slab. I have not had any fear of tipping or the pole disconnecting I’m 5’8 180lbs. Xpole is a great company as well. I have two traveling poles one 45 and one 50. Well built and reliable as well. I have not played on an xpole stage.
