the grip is not a problem for me, I do stay up rather well, it’s my legs swingging around with no control….sigh* a tutorial would be nice tho. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
It’s probably core strength then that’s giving you problems.
I’m speaking about a move I won’t be able to do for a long time, LOL. But that’s what it "looks" like. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

As far as the sweaty hands go, you’re going to have to research the different grip aids, read the review and figure out what works best for you. I wish I could be more help in that department LOL.As far as the grip for the cradle. Pink, you will get better with either grip, you just have to practice. The cradle took me forever to get too.

I have a 13 year old daughter and I never hid my pole dancing from her from the start and when I got my own pole I started doing spins and stuff in front of her and she thought it was cool. She knows that poles are used in strip clubs too but she also knows that her mother is not a stripper, LOL. She sees what I do on the pole and respects it as an art and excellent for of exercise. Of course I don’t really use heels in front of her and no sexy stuff!
Like someone said earlier, if you treat it like it’s a dirty thing that needs to be hidden than that’s how he’ll percieve it. I recently had my entire family visit from out of town for labor day, parents, sisters, brother in laws, nieces and nephews and I left Chaka right where she is LOL. As I gave my dad the tour of my new house I showed him the "pole room" and said "Oh yeah, I do pole dancing for fitness". He just shook his head and kept on walking LOL. He knows that I’m a grown woman and I’m going to do what I want to do, especially in my own house so no point in even voicing an opinion LMAO.

You may be a pole dancer if…your husband throws away your ticket for the USPDF competition and you go dumpster diving through dirty diapers and all kinds of nastyness, late at night with your dish washing gloves on until you find it….

You can count ********* and I in !
Really??? That’s so sweet! I guess I better bring Shania!
Yeah SissyBuns that would be cool. ********* was excited when I told her. It will be great to see the two girls pole together.
Except that Shania doesn’t do much poling LOL. She can do some basic spins but then she tried to climb once, said "Owww!" and never tried again LOL. My little ones on the other hands….they have skills. My 5 year son can invert, his chopper is pretty fantastic and his Reverse Grab is better then mine LOL. He even does this handed carasel chair thing…I should try to learn that…. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif

Thanks for explaining that Azriel! I was wondering how I missed it. I can never make it to Friday chat b/c I work at my ‘big girl’ job all day and then teach back-to-back pole in the evening. When I get home I’m too exhausted to type!
Well it’s good to know that some activty is bubbling on the east coast as far as pole jams go. It’s good you are here for a month – maybe there could be a new year’s jam too! It’d be great to meet you! I’d love to be there when you meet your first pole person! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif
I’ll be in town for the New Years Jam! LOL

I wonder if that stuff would help?
Someone else posted about getting sick on spin too, but I can’t remember who or when it was or what answers they got…
I was absolutely no help in this thread at all. LMAO! I just read over my post like, "why did I even bother" LOL.
