I too am forced to work in a small space when on my pole. My room is full with my bed, tv, dressers and night stands. I can’t even extend my legs all the way when spinning! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mad.gif
Your room sounds like it will be more than enough.

I can’t wait for an answer to this quesion because I have been struggling to make videos for days now and the microsoft prgram isn’t even working on my computer.

Hi, Goodluck with the poling I’m sure you will be an addict in no time and hope to see some videos from you soon. I’ve lost a fair bit of weight since I started poling and have really toned up so I’m sure you’ll manage that weight loss you’re after.
Cxxxthanks. i can’t wait to get started. i have a strong feeling i’ll be addicted too. once i’ve gotten a hang of a few things i’ll post some vids. and as for the weight, once my pole comes in i’m hoping to change my diet and exercise a bit more to tone up by my birthday in september.
Hi!
Diet is so very important if you want to work on weight loss. You can start it even before you get your pole! Start cutting out fatty foods, processed foods and try to eat more fresh things period (fruits, veggies) and lean meats (tuna, chicken breast). small changes can make big differences. I look forward to seeing your vids and watching you progress.

This was too cute! I love it! That’ all I can say is…I love it!

Hi,
I just watched your video and I’m no pro (by far) but I think one of your problems may be that you haven’t gotten the basic invert mastered yet. It seems like you aren’t able to grip the pole very well once inverted and that may be because you still need to build up strength in your upper body to hold you up in that way….and then the strength in the legs to keep you there. I too have been inverting with unsuccessful scorpios and geminis and its because I’m not strong enough yet to to do properly and safely. Although I still try sometimes…..I’m a naughty girl https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_twisted.gif -
OMG Glitter you’re so much the shit for even getting up on that stage!
I have a running fear of being in a strip club when they ask for amateurs to come on stage and dance because I wuld never have the courage!
I’m so proud of you! If they don’t hire you and you really want to dance then go for it. Check out those other places and see what comes up. if it’s meant to be it will happen.

I wish I could help.I’m about to make another post for video help lol.

I’m still new too but I know that in the classes that I take the instructor says one thing "Walk it out" and each lady seems to do her own thing. We all have our own styles. We were all kind of taught to walk in a slinky seductive way but nobody does it the same. When I’m in "sex" mode I drag my toe and walk slowly with that free hands tracing my body…when I’m in fun flirty mode I bounce more and turn and twist more depending on the music. One thing that is consistent though is that I stand upright always. shoulders back boobies out…Perky! Perky!

Unless it’s a really cool trick. Or he’s feeling frisky and I’m playing to it.
But usually it’s the um, can we do something else look.
Thus proving that the significant others in our lives can be bored of our obsession…
Soooo, you’re not alone. Don’t worry about it, I get the same look on my face with formula one and many, many women have the same facial expressions with rugby and football. But don’t worry, when you can do something well, he’ll appreciate it.
I agree Rouge. I’ll keep my practice out of sight until I got some cool stuff to show him, LOL.

MemberJune 16, 2009 at 1:36 pm in reply to: I’m sooo not ever letting my husband watch me practice againLOL Well, look at it this way, when you do a dance for him once you have gotten a few moves down, then he’ll think your a rock star. If they don’t see you struggle it looks too easy. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif I bet the video wasn’t all that bad either, we are always our worst critic. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_geek.gif
Honestly, I don’t like to practice around my hubby either. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_safesex.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_safesex.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_safesex.gif
The video wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t impressive and kind of boring for some one that doesn’t know the diffrence between a fireman and a split spin. To him it was just me doing the same thing over and over lol.

Thanks Rouge.
I think i recall seeing that post now. I’ll try your 15 second increment rule. I must admit that the thought of 30 seconds makes me cringe lol, but I’ll do it! -

MemberJune 15, 2009 at 1:28 pm in reply to: Can you guys tell me if I’m being too sensitive?Hi Glitty!
I saw that you got some pretty lengthy responses already and I didn’t have time to read them so if I’m repeating anything already said I apologize, but I just wanted to say that I have 3 kids (4 including my stepdaughter) and I am closer to some than the others.True they’re still pretty small but I can tell you now that my oldest daughter is pretty much my best friend and that my son (who is my youngest) is my baby. My poor middle daughter does sometimes get a little neglected as far as my attention goes. I don’t mean for it to be that way but it just happens.
To keep things fair I have to make a concious effort to spend more time with my middle child. if I didn’t do this she would feel very neglected and left out…kind of like you.
I think the only way to improve the situation would be to tell your mom how you feel. maybe she’s not aware of it and if she knew she’d try to make a concious effort to help you feel included.
Also realize that some things you can’t force. If she’s got a closer bond with your sister that doesn’t make you any less of a person. They’re just closer. I know you see a difference in the way she treats your sister and how you were treated but there is a bit of a difference between the first kid and the last. I’m the oldest and my younger sister was very spoiled. She got to do all kinds of stuff I never did, but as I had my own I started to understand that with the first child we’re still trying to figure things out so we may not do the best job lol.

I’m happy to hear that you saw someone that seemed to give a damn.
I swear, being in the medical field has caused me to be such a stickler for bad health care. I think that all medical providers with bad attitudes and poor bedside manor should be dropped off a cliff. If you don’t like dealing with people and their complaints …why in the hell would you become a doctor?!
I’m glad you found someone you liked that listened to you. Good for him!

i didn’t get to watch it last night.. boohoo.. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif does anyone know how the couples did? i am watching it tonight tho.. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
Everyone did ok for the most part (without giving too much away for anyone who hasn’ t watched it yet) no one really sucked, some were really good and made Mary scream, some were just safe, some were lacking personality and one couple got put on the hot tamale train!
Did anyone vote? I meant to but I forgot!

Ok talked to the doctor..and nothing is wrong! He just said he wanted to talk to me about my test results and if I knew any reasons I could be peeing so much, sorry if that’s too much info! But I yelled at him for phrasing it so poorly haha..I was worried!
Oh and I talked to my dad and when I told him it was nothing he said "I was kind of hoping the dr. was going to tell you he found out you were pregnant from your urine sample…I want to be a grandpa!" Ewwwww! No way!
Awww…that’s so cute! His biological clock is ticking!

I know what none of those moves are (except the brass monkey and the superman) so I really can’t wait to see you do them!

I hate when they make you wait!
At the clinic I work in we give news over the phone because our patients are usually scitzing out waiting to know if they have skin cancer or not.
We give them the good or bad news over the phone so that they can start researching and gathering questions to present to us when they come in for their appointment.
I hope everything works out for you and it’s nothing serious. I think that if it was serious, he wouldn’t be making you wait.
"Ms Glitter Hips, we got your test results in and I need you to come in right away"….now that’s a statement to be worried about lol.
