I feel your pain… Grace is so not my thing but when I look at videos of me a year ago I do notice some improvement so I think it is just another thing that comes with time… just for the non graceful like us maybe more time 🙁

This is a great thread… I am a car sales manager… needless to say having an addiction to pole while working in a "man's world" has been a roller coaster of it's own especially with bruises you can't always hide… I have been a manager in fast food and retail for about 10 years now…. Would LOVE to own my own studio and share what pole really is to the world someday… until then I will share via social media and performances!

Awesome! I have been doing protein for a month or two and totally agree… I recover way faster!!! I try to only do the same move at the soonest every other day… I just feel like I am not gaining any strength anymore 🙁 I feel like there must be something I am missing but I also know I am really hard on myself and do not understand patience. I just can't tell if it is patience or me doing something wrong at this point…

I used to teach beginners and it can be so frustrating when others are getting it and you feel you are not…. It is sooo important that you are having fun! Enjoy your pole and the flow you get in your body… who cares if it isn't perfect or you don't get it right away… It takes so much time to be pro status!!! I like the suggestion of dancing every time… I feel like such a dork when I dance but it can be liberating as well… but if you don't have fun you wont do it regardless of the workout so make it FUN!

I love that you admit not all moves are for everyone! I have been on this one for WAY too long… someday I hope to get it but trying not to kill myself getting there…
