Ahhh he paid for me to to take a class tomorrow morning. Maybe just to shut me up, or maybe to support me, lol,but i'm in a class!! I think he will 'get' it once he sees me do moves at home.

AMEN sassylina!!!
-
That's what I plan to do 🙂 Now I must pray bills allow for savings, haha.
-
sassylina: He has always been okay with me going to classes and is always supportive when I tell him what i've learned. Maybe I should just stop talking about it so much to him ..XD

Day623:I agree fully. It would only be extra money i'd put towards it.
-
Ahahaha Koidragon!!! He would flip!
-
Koidragon: My husband would look at that and say:"No, we are buying you a real, safe pole." XD Maybe if I say that i'd make that since we can't get a real one yet?" Lol JK.
-
DedeJoy:No,thank god we arn't starving, lol. I plan to start saving $10 a month to fund my pole 🙂 It would be $720 if I just did ONE class a week at my studio,so my own pole is MUCH more afforadable. I'm even getting the cheapest pole (45" Lil Mynx Color/ powder coated). I just hope I can learn well on it :p
-
Elskerpolet: I totally get yah! I was thinking he might be trying to surprise me too… I mentioned the savings to him and he agrees about that. It would also save on gas!
-
Good thoughts, Koidragon. I definitely want to contribute to getting the pole. We work together on everything we do.
-
I dream to be able to invert!
-
I sure hope so, Amber Sky. I think he is worried i'll get over the 'fad' too,but i've finally found a fitness routine I just LOVE! It also has increased my self confidence so much. He supports anything I want to do,but maybe he just thinks I won't do anything else? lol.
-
Right,Veena? I mean if I get a pole I can show him all that i've learned. You would think he would be rushing to save up money.https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

If I can lose 20 pounds too, that'd be awesome. I use a calorie counting app, and i'm trying soo hard to cut my soda intake. Down to one a day now instead of 2-4. 😀

Those are the exact words I said this morning, lol. I just hope he understands I’m not trying to make him feel bad we can’t afford one right now, I’m just in crazy dream girl mode.

I wouldn’t care if it was someone else saying it, but it’s my HUSBAND…. I can’t just go and say ” I’m getting a pole and that’s that.”

I think my husband might think I will find someone better once I look better, and that is just not the case lol.
-
Hmm good to know it’s not just powder coated that can rip skin. They made it sound a lot scarier ,lol. I ripped a chunk out of my foot on a chrome pole at my studio. I might just be ordering this for my first ever pole!!!
-
I'm considering a powder coated pole for my first pole..but i've heard several people on here saying spins and drops have caused them to lose skin?!??! I'd hate for that to happen to me 🙁

MemberAugust 4, 2013 at 7:08 pm in reply to: How many times a week would you have to do pole to lose weight? Thanks Koidragon. I get such bad headaches trying to cope without caffiene and I become sluggish. Last time I managed to cut it out, however, I lost about 10 pounds! I'm trying so hard to get back on track with healthy eating, but everytime I'm doing well at it, something happens where it becomes impossible. I'd be fine only losing 10 pounds, but losing more in inches/toning up. THAT'S what I want. I want to be toned and be able to not be so..chunky XD
