Hi Sandra.  Kinds of poles is my favorite subject to read about.  So many options.  What makes it harder is that I agree with everyones comments.  The studio I go to has 50 ss.  I just found out that they will be removing the 50 and get 45's.  I have an xpole xpert 45 chrome.  I prefer the 50 but it is kind of nice to work with 2 differents sizes.

Thank you Tarapebbles!  I like the Dry hands but it doesn't last very long.  I try to invite friends over but (no one wants to play with me 🙁 lol.  I'll keep at it though.  Thanks for the advice and good luck on your pole!  By the way.. Great profile picture.

Hi everyone! Can anyone tell me how long the xpole will be slippery? I’ve had it for over a month and it’s still slippery but I don’t use it often because it’s so slippy. I’ve used alcohol and windex.

Try a thick matt also. I’m going to invest in one because I have noone to spot me at home.

I have a 45 xpole xpert. I’m 5’3 and I prefer a 50. My pole is very slippery and I have soft sweaty hands so it can be tough. I think if your an oily girl ( haha) get a tg pole and if your a dry girl (haha) get a chrome pole and most ppl prefer 45. I’m an exception 🙂

Hey! I’m in the Pittsburgh area too. Do any of you Pittsburgh ladies know of any Pole studios besides FWAT? I would like to try another studio. I hear there’s 1 in Greensburg but the # doesn’t work.

Take it from me, just buy your pole from the xpole store.  I got a fake on ebay trying to save money and ended up spending more with shipping and handling sending it back.  And.. the fake one's are not safe.   Better safe than sorry.

I have the opposite problem.  I just bought a 45 and I don't like it.  I like the 50.  I want to practice the gemini and different inverts and it seems more difficult.  The xpole store said it will be hard at first but then I would love the 45 but I'm not so sure :-/  Maybe we could swap poles.  Lol
