I also have a chrome x-pole, gave ip trying to use it at home cause it was too slippery. Tried buffing it with a rough scourer which helped a little, but not enough. Yesterday we sprayed it with a can of brass finish spray paint, NOT BRASS COLOURED, brass finish. It's awesome! I can grip, climb, invert etc…
