Thank you, it was an awesome event, Amy ran it very well, we all had a great time and everyone was supportive, it was lovely! So yesterday I was in my favorite "adult" store – yes, I have a favorite haha. My friends and I go there sometimes; its a large, clean, very nice adult store, not seedy at all, and we know a lot of the staff by now. Anyway, I went in yesterday and saw that they had started selling Peek-a-Boo poles for $200. I asked an employee how long they’d had them, she said about a week. I explained that they are dangerous, people have been injured, and there are much safer removal poles they could be selling. She seemed really annoyed and said "how do I know you don’t work for one of those other companies?" I told her I’m just an enthusiast and I could name more than one company for them to choose from. Still acting really annoyed, she said she’d tell the manager. A few minutes later the manager came over and said that she would call their "toy rep" and ask them about it.
It was kind of hard to say anything as it is (I’m shy!) and I wish the employee hadn’t been so defensive and snappish about the poles… I was just trying to help. Anyway, I hope they will choose to return them and stock a better kind or none at all. I have a bad feeling they might just ignore me though https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

well its just a short clip cuz i only have my phone sorry for the horrible quality!!!! but I love playing on spinny mode (keep in mind this is my 3rd day of practice lol) i have a LOOONNNNGGGG way to go. i almost slip at the end i’m really sweaty lol and do a little pouty stomp haha

but yeah advice or tips or pointers or any kind of words of wisdom and constructive criticism would be great lol but go easy i’m a super newby with no previous ANYTHING. no dance, no… well, just anything.

Teachers that cant do, or have only just started themselves doing pole, that preach as though they know it all !!
Teachers that take off other teachers, sylabis, style of teaching advice on safety etc.. and send there other teachers to you without giving you any credit for your input or help !!!
People jumping into the pole industry becuase its a new thing without knowing anything about it!
(to me this is like a builder one day deciding he can be a surgeon and doing surgery that day)Jelouse nasty people that write bad things about others pole work and business’s when they cant do any better themselves!
