I love my x-pole, i don't have issues with it! What I don't understand is why you are trying to start a fight and being so defensive. I understand that everyone is entitled to their opinions, but a different approach should have been taken. The reason Veena promotes x-pole is because SHE likes the product. SHE has good experiences with what she recommends. Please remember to be respectful!

This is just the frugal mom/money saver in me, but when I would try a new move I used my sons crib mattresses! By putting 1 on each side and velcroing them together I found it to be safe for my needs. It’s not for every body, but it worked! I hope you enjoy your new crash matt!

The biggest thing I try to focus on are my shoulders. I like to think down and back – You don't want to sink your shoulders to you ears. I engage my shoulders and almost try to stick my chest out a little. Pulling with the upper arm (I use my dominate arm in the upper position) and pushing my lower arm (wrist up). I hope this helps a little.

Have you worked on the carousel spin yet?! Start there!

@JeHanne – I put my 2×4 on the living room side because there was not a way for me to put it in an attic space. We used 2 screws on each side to secure it into the joists. They were prob 2 1/2 to 3 inch screws. As far as the mount goes, 4 of the 6 screws are in the 2×4. I have never had any problems and have definitely felt 100% safe.

I have one too! There was not a joist where I wanted my pole, so we screwed a 2×4 into 2 joists and then the mount onto the 2×4. Works great and have never had any problems – Except I should have painted the wood to match the ceiling before putting it up! LOL

What sold me on an xpole was the fact that if my ceiling height ever changed I could always get an extention to move up to what it could be! THANK GOODNESS! It did  :o) I went from an 8 foot basement ceiling to a 12 foot vaulted in 1 year!

Good Luck in your pole buying experience!

I would agree with the Mika post – Jenn West wore the betty bottoms and the tula top at the Midwest Pole Comp and I thought it looked really great! I am a HUGE fan of the PoleFit wear also – I have 4 different styles of their tops (spider, fishnet cami, iron x, and bondage top) and 3 different kinds of the bottoms (brazil, full back fishnet, and bondage shorts) and I LOVE them!
