I think the reason why the “Patent Leather” Pleasers tear so quickly is due to the fact that they aren’t really patent leather (I believe they are vinyl). I have some “Patent Leather” Pleaser boots that I have had for several years and yes, the coating has started to peel a little but they were inexpensive (as compared to real patent leather) and I can do little touchups with my Sharpie 🙂

Thank you for posting this. I go through a ton of Dry Hands and recently started using Dirty Girl Polestice too. I will def. try this! Forgot that my BF used to teach Science…should have asked him for some cheaper home remedies for my sweaty hands…duh!
