Wow, Thank you all for all of your great feedback. Love the diffrent opinions and points of view, I've never used iTac & never felt like I needed on my 45mm Chrome. I am saving up to get the 45mm TG now, I can not wait https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif I miss poling a whole lot. I never though it would become a part of me, and never thought I would have such a passion for it, but I do. I miss it https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif
-It was dificult for me to go upside down on the Chrome maybe on the TG will be a better grip for me 🙂

Thank You <3
See thats the thing I should of kept my Chrome Pole. I freakin feel like crying at times haha, It would be nice to have both lol, but is all good. I was thinking about getting a 50mm now just because I though since im thick it would be easier, but maybe I am wrong and I dont want to risk it. LOL I think I am def going to get the 45mm TG. Just because I did pretty good on the 45mm.
I've always heard good things about TG Pole. I just hope when I get it i dont regret buying it instead of the Chrome 'cuz like you say, everyone is diffrent. So hopefully I will adapt to the TG once I get it. I will def let you ladies know how it goes 🙂
Thanx so much for your feedback <3

– Oh God I said Both of my husband ahaha… Let me correct that I only have one. I meant both my husband & I. LOL https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gifhttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Yes, it was hard for both of my husband and I but we got through and everything came out good. Thank You 🙂
– I was thinking the same maybe the 45 is easier with moves. that helps a lot, I have to kinda start all over again so it makes a lot of sense to get the 45mm, but this time I am def going with the TG ive always heard its good with the grip. So thats a plus! lol The X-Stage would be so cool! Hope you get it girly 🙂
Thanx so much for your help 🙂

https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif Wow, I love how everyone gave their own opinion so clearly. I agree with many of you in your diffrent opinions, it all makes a lot of sense. Loved to have read how many of you feel about this subject. To me pole dancing has two sides to it, its a great sport, and a great way to show your femenine, and sexual side if that’s what you chose it to be. Its an awsome, and best thing a woman can ever have https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

Hi Fleur!!!
Thank You sooo, so much for this advice. When I started I knew my body wasnt strong, and I started 4 mo now ago. With that said, I knew that I couldnt do inverts and all so I have just asked questions to see if I should try other easier moves and spins instead. I took classes for 8 wks and it helped a lot on building up strength. And still I know im not ready for more advanced moves so I believe in taking it easy. Even though, I have to say… Ive been practicing from the floor, and also from mid pole section i bring my knees up and all.. Well, its been like 2 wks now. Today I try the invert without kicking or jumping annnnnnnnd I DID IT! Once I did the invert the right way I could keeo doing it.. YAY! From there I hooked my right leg and it was soo cool!!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bounce.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bounce.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif I had so much fun.. Eventhough all this was happening at the bottome of the pole ahahaha https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif But I got it and it felt so comfortable. It wasnt hard, I didnt feel any pain or got burned. I only did feel it in my abs, yes! YaY Meee https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bounce.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bounce.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rabbit.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

I started poling 4 months ago and I feel like im all over the place. I feel like im not focusing on going step by step with learning basic moves and all because I serously dont know what the heck im doing anymore, im confused https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif . I know how to do a couple of basic spins, sit, but my question is the following. As a beginner, what do you suggest to start with? Like sit first then try basic spins then what?? ….for example ill start poling and i end up doing the same shh. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif I have tried to invert, but I cant get it. Im not sure if its too early. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cry.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cry.gif Im so lost. I wish I had like a plan or something like that so that atleast I have an idea of what to do next… I dont know if you guys understood me, but all I know is that I need to learn what’s next. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif HELP https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_neutral.gif
I agree with Fleur. You’ve got Veena’s lessons right here that are just what you need. They’re arranged in order of difficulty so just start from the begining (like me https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif ).
Claess are also very helpful and fun too!
Thank You for your advice. Im going to try them for sure. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Sounds to me like you need an instructor to guide you with some structure and feedback and you have come to the right place! Veena has wonderful lessons that are arranged according to difficulty so that you can build up strength and a repertoire of pole movement in a sensible and logical manner. The lessons are also ten times more cost efficient than going to a studio if you aren’t looking for group exercise which has a different feel to it (some people love to take class at a studio because you have people around to encourage and inspire you) or if you are not anywhere near a studio. Either way, take advantage of the excellent opportunity this site is giving you!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
Fleur
Girl, youre so right. Ive been thinking on registering for Veenas lessons. Im gonna need it. Thank You so much. I appreciate all the advice you have given me. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_salut.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

Uff for the sound of it we all ended up with a little monster in our closets https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif Guess what? I have one too, grrr.
Its no good, A waste of money.. So, I got the x-pole intead and love it!!! So go for the X-pole. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif -
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON’T JUMP!!! You could seriously hurt your shoulders! I know this from personal experience. The best way to work on inverting is to do the following:
1. both hands are about shoulder/face high. Outside hand on top, and inside hand on bottom
2. Place pole on your side b/n your bottom rib and your hip bone. Try to keep constant contact between your pole and side. Think of this point as a pivot point.
3. lift knees to chest and then tip torso backwards. To work on building strength do the knee to chest and hold as long as possible. This is difficult at first, but you’d be surprised at how strong it will make you….it is a much more controled (ie prettier) way of inverting. Once you have the strength and control you can raise your arms higher and then lift yourself into it. Please don’t jump!
Also, remember to keep your shoulders back and down!
Good luck.
Azriel is right…if you could post a vid it would be much easier to figure out/correct what you are doing.
wow.. Thank you so much Roxy. I was just on my way to ask the same question. Ive been poling for 3 almost 4 months now and I can not get an invert. Ive tried the Jump and I dont feel secured for some reason so I stopped. My teacher told me yesterday try it from the floor and I just dont get it. Im freakin too heavy https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cry.gif
I cant lift myself up at all https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cry.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cry.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cry.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif
So im gonna try your advice it sounds safe.. Im gonna practice all next week and ill let you know the end results by Friday. I know Ill probably need more time, but ill let you know if i can atleast hole my knees up longer or what not. Thank You so much for your advice.. Hugs https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif -

Hey
To be honest and maybe I might sound a little old fashion. But If your husband is upset about you posting any vids or pics then you shouldnt. Its not right for him. I understand that you like the comments and reviews that friends leave, but lets be honest. Our husbands come first and we should respect them. I pole dance, and I get a lot of help from girls on youtube. My husband doesnt care I pole dance as long as I do not post any pics or vids of myself, and this hasnt stopped me from wanting to keep going. I have no one else to ask so when I achive a new move who better than to ask your hubby. Ill ask him to check me my new move out and he will cheer me on. Thats good enough for me. If I where you, I would honestly get a private channel and only let a few of the most closest girlfriend to view videos. there are a couple of places that will let you do just that. There is actually a place where is like a blog and channel and your friends can register to view. You can either accept them or not. I really hope that you take this advice, because in the end we didnt get married to ourselves. We owe our husbands some respect. There is nothing wrong with having pole dancing fun, just as l ong as your not hurting yourself or others. Hugs! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif
