I have got mat that is 4 inches thick. I bought it from ebay (I am in the UK) as it was the cheapest I could find. So far I am happy with it. Personally I thought that investing in thicker mat will be worth for the future even if I don’t need it at the moment x

I am very often feeling like I am too tired to workout or pole. As already suggested I say to myself I will just do quick workout and 99% of time once endorphins start flowing I keep going. Also good music helps x

Mine does exactly the same. I was worried about it but it’s not moving so I just left it x

So I have now tried to loosen it and checked again if it’s straight. It’s not perfectly straight but it will not get any better. Still the same problem. Contacted the xpole helpline, so I suppose will have to wait till tomorrow now to get a reply x

I have been doing the beginner moves in addition to my weekly session (I do 1 to 1 for various reasons). I like to go through them in more depth really focusing on the technique. Veena gives you different tips and I feel like I am really getting the hang of it. I also look at the bonus moves section if I want to try something new, there are still some beginner moves in there or you could do the combos/routines in there. I tend to leave inverted moves to do in my session as at the moment I need a spotter but hopefully one day I will put my brave pants on I do it on my own (and crash mat of course) x

Thank you. Will have a look. The main thing I want to work on is my legs extensions. I feel like I am getting better with my flexibility (still long way to go) but when I am standing up and trying to lift my leg up I can bearly go past my hip unless i use momentum. I think that maybe more my strength in hip flexors/lower abs that is lacking?

Thank you. I definitely need to have a positive frame of mind. I do keep telling myself, that I can’t do it, my legs won’t hold me etc and then just panic and grip the pole with all my might. I think I will go back to basics and do the reverse handstand as in your lessons and slowly get my confidence with letting go of my hands. Also will practice my headstand bit more. I have started the 30 days take off. There is so much content that I need some structure so it’s good that it’s all laid out for me so I can just tweak it to what I need! Thanks everyone!

Thank you. I think as you say I will have to wait till my dear husband is available to catch me before I do tricky moves. I just hope I will get over this fear and believe in myself!

Thank you ☺️. I have underestimated how quickly my body cooled down after being to the gym and I went onto doing invert. Add to that the fact I have not got the core strength to go down in controlled manner I have pulled muscle behind shoulder blade (I have done kick inverts in my sessions). Needless to say I won’t be doing inverts for a while now till I build up strength.
