Aww that’s fantastic! Well all of my children love the pole and take turns to mess about on it, so much so I have to steam off their sticky prints every time I use it. I’m sure they would love this!
My husband got quite excited when he glanced over my shoulder and thought I was looking up bondage! Fun for all the family it seems….. I feel another Christmas wish list coming on! -
Argh, I want one now. Coming and chatting on this forum is bad for my bank account! I guess I would need to keep young children away from it?

Really? So do you still practice at home? What’s needed for a home setup? You should think about becoming an instructor and setting up a class locally…

Have you tried steam cleaning your pole? Also I love a bit of mighty grip on slippy days although it makes a mess of the pole!

Thanks for your help portableninja, I'm just about to put in my order. I've actually just started noticing that a lot of Veena's lessons are done on what looks like the TG, in particular the ones that need more grip. I'm sold!
I actually took a peek at your videos and it actually looks really nice, as does your plum coloured top with the tie at the back. Can I ask where you bought that? I have large breasts and if I wear a bikini when dancing they look like they may fall out when inverted!
For some reason I just can't gather the confidence to try butterfly, maybe the new pole will help me with that.
Also, do I steam clean it the same as I have done with the stainless steel? I am def removing my wedding ring for all practicing on this one, as I have scratched my 50mm.

Thanks girls, that’s great. I don’t think brass is for me, I don’t see myself getting the brasso out every month!
I agree I think the 45 over the 40 mm. I still intend to keep my 50. As for the steel I have noting to compare it to but I find it hard to warm up sometimes and I still can’t do tricks on it without grip aid, so I find it slippy but that could just be me and my lack of experience.
I think I may be convinced on the TG! Just wish it came in Titanium silver as gold just won’t go with the rest of my house. Thanks again! -
Wow, that is all so helpful thanks! My current pole is stainless steel 50mm. My fingers don't come anywhere close to meeting. I'll try and post a photo.
I'm 5'6" (168cm), slim but my thighs defiantly meet. I have dry skin mostly and I live in London so it's cold and wet most of the time although summer can be fairly humid.
My thighs are 19inches at the biggest diameter and my hand spam is 8inches.

Do you want to have children at some point? If so maybe something to consider as your breasts go through changes during pregnancy and breast feeding. You may be very happy with the results from surgery only for them to change again after children. Also sometimes due to this kind of surgery you may not be able to breast feed at all as mostly the nipple is repositioned, damaging milk ducts. Wouldn’t harm getting expert advice from a consultation though 🙂

We’re all still thinking of you. I am very much loooking forward to the beautiful and heartfelt dance in his memory that I’m sure is to come. X

Thanks girls, that really helps!

Well my perky breasts make up for the unsightly bruises on my hips, legs and arms and the new calluses developing on my hands!
-
Veena I still can’t get my head around the fact you have birthed 4 children!

Regarding the cross knee release, the two things that helped it click for me were some decent floor mats to go over my slate floor (!) and the realisation that you take quite allot of your weight onto the top of your knee. Also stopped trying for a few days and then did it first time.

Wow you girls are all so advanced! I never realised just how much work went into poling, it looks so graceful and easy when you watch the experts.
Hope you all reach your goals! -
Thanks for your swift reply, I shall await your solution.

The 50mm does feel big for my grip but I am progressing well so will keep going and maybe save up for a 45 spinning pole to reward myself for good work!

Lesson please Veena 😉

Thanks everyone.
Veena, you are absolutely right……I am having lessons every day from an excellent instructor! I love that I can access them anytime and some times work on a move whilst dinner is cooking lol!
I have recently started filming myself and have been pleasantly surprised by how straight my plank is for example.
I’m sure the lessons would be fun, the cost is fine but the child care presents an issue for me as my children are all still little.
I’m sticking with studio Veena for now. Xx -
Hi, I’m in London too and just about to book with Ecole de Pole purely at it’s closest to me. So great to read good things about it!
Have been learning at home but am not feeling brave enough to try different stuff now I’m inverting, so thought a class would be better.
