Hey Neighbour! I am in Stoney Creek. Welcome to SV!

I say if it’s not hurting you then it’s fine. I dance with mine but mine is old and it’s all healed.
I would think a new piecing would be sensitive and I’d be worried about bacteria getting on it so I would probably wear bandaid on it or something.
My belly button piercing has never gotten in the way from pole dancing but I find that I break my jewelry more from the pole.
I’m uncomfortable pole dancing topless though. I have nipple piercings and I don’t like them tugging on the pole so I have to be wearing a bra or tight tank top works for me. LOL yeah I sometimes dance naked at home. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sometimes when I am alone and hanging upside down on my pole, I feel all my gas about to come out so I just let it rip sometimes. LOL!!! It’s relaxing. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif

My joins pop all the time. They have been doing this before I started pole dancing too. I think if there is no pain of discomfort, then its okay..? I’m not really sure. I would also like to know more info on this too.

I’m wondering how the lotion is for spins practice. I just put up my new xpert titanium gold and have used it couple of times. OMG, I’m all beat up, it hurts!!! I went from complaining about my stainless steel being too slippery to TG being TOO grippy. I’m not that good at poling and wonder if I’m not ready for TG. I’m going to keep trying it for a bit longer and see, then put my ss back up and play with it again. I think maybe I should have gotten the xpert chrome. hmm, maybe will post a 3 week old TG pole for sale https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif By the way, what kind of pole do you use.
I have the 45mm Stainless Steel Xpole. I mainly use it in spinning. I just love spinning better than static. I find my pole wayyy too slippery. When I used to take lessons at Aradia fitness, they had brass poles and I liked them more. Allure fitness also had brass and I liked them better than mine. I guess we are all different but if I ever get a new pole, I’m going brass.
But.. I know what you mean about brass being too grippy. I found that when I didn’t wear lotion while at lessons with brass poles, I found them a bit too grippy.. so I always wore greasy lotion while taking lessons with brass poles.
I guess you just gotta find what works better for you. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I know push-ups sounds so old school and boring but seriously they are the best for building upper body strength. I finally don’t have twiggy arms anymore and some nice triceps happening. I really think it’s made me stronger to learn more pole moves.

I am a 27 year old from Stoney Creek, Ontario and I am addicted to pole dancing. I started about 1.5 years ago with Aradia Fitness in Hamilton. I got up to level 3 but I quit taking lessons because there was no one to teach level 4 so I couldn’t move on with them. However, I managed to teach myself many inverted tricks on my own. I mainly learned from watching videos on YouTube. I have the Xpole in my house!
I really want to get back into lessons but I am not sure where to go. I am interested in your studio and would like to check it out some time. And it’s perfect that your studio is literally in walking distance from me.
