OMG, those are like 2000" heels https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
Maybe for starters I can go down (or up in my case) to a 3".
They are sexy though, I will concede that.

I’ve had the same issue. X-pole was wonderful, and sent me replacement parts. I’ll admit, even with the parts, I’m having the *same* issue with the poles twisting around the x-joints. Their customer service is superb.

Yay Jersey!
What part of jersey (the easily accessible part, or the needs a car part?) New York chick waving back.
Oh, I’ve not begun to tackle the inverts…too weak, but you’ll find some wonderful advice from the ladies here on Veena…
Welcome!

I’ve had about 4 pieces replaced at no charge. It’s been a PIA, but the customer service has been wonderful. -
You guys are great, some wonderful tips here…

Hello there!!
Great thing finding this forum, you’ll meet some wonderful people here, plus get to watch some killer videos.
I’ve been to Chicago a few times, I hear they have good pizza https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_dwarf.gif

Try Shckra studios on 28th street….here is the link http://www.shockrastudio.com/
I take classes there, and love it (feeling *much* better compared to when I started).

I almost brought one of those "fake" poles. What attracted me was the price, however, I did my research and invested in an x-pole. I believe if you’re serious about pole then you will look around, check reviews, and finally settle on one that does the job correctly and safely….

Hey!
This is a great site, welcome.
I’ve been having lots of fun posting videos, and the ladies are so supportive here. I look forward to seeing some of your stuff… -
She says after it comes out, then you do the other end. Quite frustrating, as I have to wait for my husband to help since it requires force. I now have to contend with the A&B poles stuck together, in addition to the B & 500 extension. grrrrrrrrr
-
I can not separate my A&B poles at all. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_evil.gif Therefore using a broom to dislodge the x-joint is futile. I’ve e-mailed x-poles and have not received a response; I will call again tomorrow.

I’ll have to check out the glucosamine/chondroitin liquid supplements and see what they’re about.

Thank you! I do have the S factor 1, but had some crying jags during the workout, because I couldn’t do some of the moves. I think sometime s I’m terribly hard on myself, because of some of my limitations. Working with what I’ve got is a goal I’m striving toward. I also heard Yin yoga is a great hip opener.

MemberOctober 1, 2010 at 6:04 pm in reply to: Are smaller sized women better on the pole?I think I might be better on the pole a few pounds lighter, however I believe believe what will truly help me get better isn’t my size, but my strength and flexibility. It all gets down to strength me thinks, not necessarily weight.
-
I don’t think the broom handle jiggly will work for me. The A and B poles are pretty long, making it problematic in retrieving the x-joint.
-
Oh crap….
so it’s a problem with the pole.
Thank goodness it’s not me (I thought I screwed up)
-
Oh wow…I’m having the same issue, *plus* I’ve got a few scrapes where the main pole A is supposed to connect to B. I’ve written Heydi from X-pole, and am anxious to hear what she has to say. Other than that, I’m SUPER relieved to hear it’s not me (I always thought *I* messed it up), and that it’s a product issue.

It’s a tough thing for me with loving my body, I’ve suffered from eating issues for years. Then I got pregnant, then I got sober, then I got to 200 pounds. I’ve never fully felt comfortable in my skin, which is why I took up pole in the first place. Not only to find that inner sexy gal, but to become more confident in my own skin, to love my strength, and to find my voice. I need to surround myself with women who like me, have been on the bigger side and who pole (truth is I just need to surround myself with positive women, period). It will serve as inspiration, and a reminder that I can do it too!!!
By the way I think your videos are great (both of you), so amazing.
