That sounds great! I underestimated how much mirrors would cost buy like 50% lol. That’s ok since I can save up. The glassless sound really cool & I love that they weigh so much less 🙂

Yay! My hubby just ordered my 45mm brass pole from platinum stages for me for my birthday & our anniversary gift 😀 I went with the regular one instead of the competition one, after I talked to PS they made me feel better about getting that one & no real need to get the competition one 🙂 yay!

I am self taught 😀 except for 2 workshops with Alethea Austin that I attended after poling for 2 years.

… I can’t edit the last thing I said on my phone but I want a 45mm brass 10 foot & pole danzer doesn’t make one like that. The do make a 45 in stainless but stainless is too slick for me in most days. I have used brass in a few occasions & loved it!

Was the 10ft platinum stages pole a 45mm? & did it feel like it had a lot of give? I want a 45mm since I like that best, I just looked at pole danzer & they don’t have a 45mm 🙁

My hubby said he would get me the competition version of the platinum stages pole if I feel like I need that to be safe BUT with shipping & all it’s gonna be like $630 & I really don’t want to spend that much if I can just get the normal one for $440. I believe it would be safe since they sell them up to 14feet in a brass 45mm spinner but idk & I’ve never used that brand.

I would buy the same brand I have used the past 4 years& have 2 of (hardcore pole / pole Waxers) but for some reason she won’t sell to me anymore… Really not sure what’s up with that. The hard core poles are super solid & I can’t imagine anything being more “solid feeling” or spinning any smoother/faster.

I broke my middle toe the first time I tried to dismount from a Gemini & I have hurt my rib a few times from jade… Thank god that’s the worst of it for me 🙂

I have a 10 foot ceiling for my pole room 🙂 I called platinum & asked them what would be best & they said the 45mm @ 10 feet tall could have a little “give”… I noticed on their site they sell a 45mm that is 12 feet tall & it isn’t the competition grade… I’m still confused! Lol.
All I know is I want a spin/static 45mm in brass that mounts permanent & is one solid piece.

I would love to hear from someone who has a 10ft platinum stages 45mm permanent pole 🙂

I have a temporary pole right now in a room with a low ceiling (only 8feet) & I hate it! It’s way too low for me. I had a 9ft ceiling in my old pole room at my old house & it was nice but I still wanted a taller space… Now I have a room with a 10 foot ceiling but no pole to go there just yet so I’m stuck with a 8 foot for now. The taller the better!!!

Oh yeah, I’ve already climbed in the attic to double check that beam/stud & I’m going to get extra boards cut to screw in there (from the attic side) to make it even more stable 😉 I had a 9ft permanent pole at my old house & I broke screws (attatched to the ceiling) from time to time… I think I’m rough when I learn new stuff, lol.

I had sent them an email through their site & also asked on their Facebook but still haven’t gotten a response :-/ I really want to know what the difference is because I’m ready to order 🙂 whatever one I get will be a 10 foot & I know I want a 1 piece pole that will screw in the floor & ceiling forever 😀 tension mounted poles make me nervous :-/
Can’t wait to get my new pole 😀

Ok so this morning I took my pup to have her teeth cleaned & they won’t let them wear their collars while they are doing it. I always put her collar around the lower part of my upper arm, under a tattoo I have of her face (so it looks like the tattoo of her is wearing her real collar) & today I tried to do the same thing & it won’t fit! 😀 I was pretty excited since it means I’ve gained more muscle since her last cleaning 😀 yay!!! It’s the little things ya know? Lol!

I think It’s worth it for sure 🙂

It took me like 6 months to finally do a CKR & a few months after that I did my 1st crucifix 🙂 I have seen people invert quicker than I did, also heard of some taking longer. You will do it when you are ready, no need to rush, when you are comfortable that’s when the time is right for you!

Wow! I didn’t know that was possible 🙁 sorry to hear that! I would contact x pole & ask them what to do, you might be able to buy a replacement part or something. I only have solid piece poles so I am zero help on this.

I have enjoyed the powder coated but it wasn’t my first choice & I got it because I was moving & I knew I would have a 8 foot ceiling at the temp house & the house we were getting…& I got it for a great deal at the time. I really want a metal surface pole again & a spinner again 🙂
