    Yea we should!
This was my 3rd pole too & it is a 45mm brass from platinum stages. I like it a lot! I had a 50mm stainless pole from hardcore poles (pole Waxers) & a 45mm powder coated from hardcore poles too. I like the brass best even thought I’ve only been able to use it 3x, lol. I was happy with how quick I got my pole from platinum stages too! I ordered on 4/4 & it was here on 4/12. They custom make the permenant poles (like I got) for your ceiling height. They have good customer service too! I had to call & ask them something about installing it & they were quick & helpful. They also followed up with me later that afternoon to make sure I got it installed 🙂

I found a place that sells bio freeze on my hubby’s path home so he is gonna pick some up for me in a few while driving home from work 🙂 thanks for suggesting it, I had forgotten about it.

Well that explains why you know so much 😀 lol. Thank you! I’m on the west side of atl, so about an hour away from your area. If you were closer I’d have to take you up on that offer though 😉 I’m gonna try to get some bio freeze & this is the 2nd time I’ve iced my pec today. I have been acting like I can’t use that arm so I don’t strain it any more than it already is & I have stretched it some today too! It’s feeling a lot better but still not 100%. They hardest part is not being able to pole since I just got a new pole2 weeks ago & have only used it 3x . I slathered body oil on so I won’t be tempted to pole, lol.

i haven't tried biofreeze, my mom used it years ago when she had some injuries & she loved it! i wish it were cheaper to get a massage because i can't afford it right now so i'm gonna have to stick with free stuff like ice, stretching & icy hot (since thats what i have). there is a "natural body" day spa massage place near me & when they have open spaces they put out a "1/2 off" sign so i need to stalk their store, lol.

i've been icing & resting for a few days & it seems to be feeling a good bit better. i wish i could go to a dr & get like 1 muscle relaxer pill because i think it would help a ton! i put icy hot on it 2 nights in a row & i felt it relax. i didn't realize i was holding my chest tight until i used the icy hot. this link is a video i found on youtube about that muscle group. my pain is in the pectoralis major sternal division on my right side which is the side where i injured my shoulder a while back so it's starting to make sense, lol.

after doing some research, i'm pretty sure i have torn my right pec https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif i read that "weighlifters" sometime do this from lifting weights with their arms up high & since us pollers pretty much dead lift our own weight like that i'd imagine it is a pretty common thing with pollers too. so now i'm icing it & taking anti- inflammatories https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif boo!!!!

I pole 3x a week for about 2 hours (or more) each time. I work on everything & work on inverts for at least an hour of that. I don’t do any other kind of workout at all. I notice or more on my right side which is the side i am stronger on & sadly the side I work on most if the time (I’m trying to balance myself out). I’ve been poling for almost 4 years 🙂

I’m guilty of this too! I have one side that is way more muscular that the other O_o

I don’t think they make them especially for pole but the ones with the plastic/vinyl top parts work great 🙂 I like “pleasers” best for poling. I also like a shoe with an ankle strap better that those without one for poling. If you get pleasers you probably should get the next size up from your normal shoe size because they run a bit small.

i have a powder coated pole & a brass pole. the powder coated is super grippy! the brass is grippy too but powder coated is easier to care for & you can be a little rougher with the surface 😉 i have a stainelss pole too & it is real slippery. i would go for the 45mm if you can, that's gonna be way easier to grip too!

i have the 5 inch thick mat from them & i love it! i would say go for the 5 inch just because it's safer. i haven't used the 4 inch one so i can't say about the differences. my first pole room was over cement floor (carpet over that)  & i couldn't feel any hard floor when i have "crashed" into my 5in crash mat. if you are not poling over cement the 4 inch would probably be fine though. i'm sure they are both great!

I called & asked them & they told me 🙂 they may have changed parts or something since you got yours.

& my eye feels ok now, still looks scratched though. Luckily it’s the white part, that would be some crazy s*+t lol, go blind putting a pole up o_o needless to say I’ve added safety glasses to my shopping list.
& omg I LOVE THIS NEW POLE! It’s so awesome! I love the brass & the height is great too! Seems to be very well made! I didn’t think I could find a better made pole than the ones I already have but I was wrong. This one seems to be even more sturdy, that’s good since the company I was buying from doesn’t make them anymore 🙂

Ok. Talked to PS this morning & that top flange has a center part that toggles out & now that I know that, my pole is installed 😀 yay!! I am a bit of an idiot & used sunglasses instead of safety glasses (that’s all I had) & now I have some ceiling partials stuck in my eye 🙁 or maybe my eye is just scratched from it.. Idk but its not fun right now. Happy to have my pole up thought 😀

Thanks! I plan to call them tomorrow & ask what to do. Ill keep y’all posted.
I have another pole so if I need to wait on this one to be cut shorter it’s not really a big deal… I am excited to have it though & can’t wait to use it 🙂 seems like its going to be a really solid pole & I love a brass pole, I have stainless & a powder coated one so it will be nice to have a metal pole again 🙂

Mine is a solid piece & no way to adjust the height… Either that or I’m an idiot & didn’t notice a way to adjust it. Lol. Ill go take a pic of the ends & the parts I have & put them in my new pole album in like 2 mins. I got it in Friday afternoon & of course ps is closed until Monday.

Does anyone have one of these in a solid piece pole? I just got mine Friday & I’m having trouble installing it. Please help. I have the base plate screwed in & the ceiling marked for the flange but can’t get the pole pushed ove to the ceiling. Any tips would be awesome!!

  • Barefoot!! Learn them well before using your heels. When I work in new inverts or ones I’m not so great at I always go barefoot 🙂

I’m sure that would work fine but I’m wondering how it can be installed with the base plate screwed in floor. It seems impossible to install it the way the instructions say to. The pole seems really well made, very heavy duty & I can’t wait to use it! Just have to figure out how to installs it properly 1st 🙂

In my old pole room I had made a wall of mirrors out of the ones that go on a door 🙂 Might have to do that again until I can save enough to get a big one.
