I have no dance or gymnastic background either. I was a tomboy right up
Until I was about 15 🙂 I’ve been poling just over two years now and I can guarantee you it can definitely be done. Don’t give up and DONT DARE compare yourself to others because that’s when you will start to think you should be able to do everything they can. Stick at it if you love it and you will be awesome 🙂 I’m so close to my splits aswell. And by the way, I joined a gymnastics club about 4/5 months ago so if you think you need extra help
With flexibility etc then join your local
Gymnasts. Most clubs do adult classes 🙂 it’s helped me with stretches and splits so much!! -
And Becky you are so lucky you don’t feel the pain… I tried it once in class and I had a swollen knee for a few days… Safe to say I didn’t attempt it again 🙂 lol

Tropical pole I was going to
Call you a cheater until you finally settled for the V lol haha. It’s so hard to choose one! I love the Scorpio too and I haven’t really attempted the ballerina but it looks beautiful! -
I find it a lot easier to do a tg handspring when my cheat is facing the ceiling already. This way I don’t need to twist my hips or swing, I’m still working on a dead lift though because I have to jump in to it for now but I am aiming to get rid of the small jump completely. If you watch the last video I posted on here you will see what I mean. In my pole class most girls do it with swinging the leg but I just cannot do it like this. Have your chest facing the ceiling and your arms in position and try it then, I think you will find this way a lot easier for now before we master the deadlift. It isn’t a permanent solution though because I understand tg can cause damage to your shoulders although I have been practicing this tg for maybe 6-7 months now with no pain. Each to their own but I like this grip. Just make sure you stretch properly and don’t over do it. I find it isn’t the arm that’s in the twisted position that takes most of the weight but my arm at the bottom is pushing me more than anything. Hope this helps because I’m really not good at explaining things lol.

I loved this. Thank you so much. It opened my eyes quite a bit to a few things.

Wow. I didn’t realise I should be leaving all my stretching until after a workout, I usually warm up then stretch then pole. Makes sense though to stretch afterwards.

Pity you couldn’t come to Ireland 🙁 lol

No problems lady I’ll send you a few and I’m sure others on the page will aswell! 🙂

Pole pics that is, I’m not very flexible YET lol

Are you looking to put the inspirational quotes on the pictures yourself? Because if so, I would be more than happy to help you and send some of my pics. 🙂

Yay go you!! Pointed toes for me came with time and confidence because when you point your toes you have to let go of the grip your feet have whilst fixed together. When you point your toes you have to focus on squeezing your thighs together a lot more. I don’t even think about my feet now I just focus on my thighs and pushing them together! Hope this helps!! This is one of
My fav moves but we call is the half moon. -
Thank you so much ladies!! I will defo have a look in Belfast maybe on Saturday to see can I find anything if I don’t ins anything on the sites you gave me!! I’m thinking I will have to buy some sort of swimwear an decorate it myself which I love doing anyways! Raven is it pole theatre England you are doing or are you over here? Lol. Awesome, it’s only new here so I can’t wait to see all the category’s and all the talent it just gets better and better every year! And Kate I have picked my music “she’s as cold as ice” but I’m looking for a remix of it though. 🙂
