Im no good at eating clean. But I can tell you that organic food is not healthier then non organic. Although it often tastes different and often better then non organic https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif And is more expensive https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif

Thank you https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif But the last week has been so freaking cold wich makes stretching so much harder and difficult to keep warm while stretching and I missed out 2 days i a row of streching and couldnt get as close today because of that =/ Note to self. Never miss out more then 1 day a week in stretching! =/
Personally I think its a bit difficult to measure splits. Photos are just as good as a measurement of your progress I think. Get someone to take a photo for you if you cant do it yourself. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
I also feel this stretch and soreness behind the knee sometimes. I just try to be careful not to overstretch. And it can be funny when I stand up from stretching and walk away like a really old person. Lol.
Good luck with your splits!:)

I have always wanted to get into splits but never been able. I got into Battle of the pole recently wich is held on january 22. And splits are required in the routine. So 4 weeks ago I started doing the Splits in 6 weeks program and adding some other stretches and I have made some great progress. I stretch for about 40-60 minutes 6 times a week. I have been sore in my hips and feet almost constantly since I began stretching. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif
I always forgot to take photos before I Started stretching but here’s how far I got last night right after an hour of stretching. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Thank you for the advice. Have been stretching everyday since sunday. Exept yesterday because I accidentally fell asleep. Hehehe. But still havent figured out the karate stance. So still doing other stretches instead.
So glad I started this now because I just got accepted into Battle of the pole wich is in January and splits are required. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif -
Nice. I am trying this out! Just finished my first stretching session. But I have a few questions if anyone can explain to me https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
He talks about doing 3 reps.
Should I do 3 reps on one leg and then 3 on the other.
OR
Should I do once right leg, once left leg, once right, left, right and left until I have done 3 on each leg or doesn’t it matter? And I can’t figure out how the Karate Stance stretch is. If someone could post a link with a photo would be so great! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
In some of the stretches my muscles that Im stretching shake while I am stretching. Am I stretching too far or should I try to relax more and not stretch o far or wait til the shaking stops?

I have a pair of 6" that I like. It was really surprising to me that I could walk and dance in them because I am a looser on heels usually and never wear them. Then I bought myself 6 3/4" And they are scary! I almost tripped and broke my ankle just trying to walk in them at home and they are heavy so its impossible for me to do a handspring in them for example it messes up my balance. But I am hoping to break them in soonish and get used to them because the look gooooood https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif Should be possible…

You can also try standing on the floor in the shouldermount position and just begin with just bringing your legs up to your chest.

I think a lot is just strength and practice. This took me a few months to get. Dont know how to break down the technique of how to do it though :S I just tried this regularly until I got it.

I always use a 38mm and I really like it. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif I just don’t get how anyone can use 50mm. I tried that once and I couldnt even get my hands around it :S https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif
