Those who only notice girls for having big boobs are probably not the type of guys that you really want to be around anyways 🙂 And maybe the thought that guys only notice girls with bigger breastst is probably only something in your head. 🙂 Stop feeling bad and start being proud and feel good about the way you were made 🙂

Like I said before. I am and have always been small chested. And I have never had any problems with that. I never try to make the look bigger and I don't want clevage. To me it would just be weird and slutty and not fit my body type.
I like smaller boobs better. But just to be clear every size is good! Dont want anyone to feel hurt. 🙂 I just think its so sad that so many small chested girls feel bad about themselves when they are perfect just the way they are and that they feel like they need to get implants or make their boobs look bigger.
And personally the only people I hear saying that bigger boobs are better are women. I have actually heard more guys say that they like smaller breasts better then the opposite. I have never felt any pressure about having bigger boobs. To me it usually just sounds like girls with big boobs are jealous that girls with small chest are hot too.
All small chested girls. Stop feeling like you are not good enough. You too are just as beautiful as anyone else and I am telling you that men think so too. ! 🙂

Doesn't breast size just follow the body type? Slim girls usually have smaller breasts. You rarlely see thin or slim girls with natural big boobs. After all boobs are fat.
I have always been either skinny or slim and I have a-cups. They used to be one cup size bigger about 6 years ago but then all my other clothes were also 1 or 2 sizes sbigger.
So too me it makes alot of sense that if you have low body fat your boobs most likely dont have much fat either. In most cases at least. I have also always imagined that if i had bigger boobs they would just get in the way when poling and add more weight and make things more difficult.
And one more last thing. I hate it when people talk bad about having small boobs or having no boobs. I see this all the time on the internet on facebook, youtube videos etc. People and most often its women who do this. Someone is doing something. Dancing or whatever. Then she gets comments about that she looks like a boy, or she isn't feminine, and her boobs are like onions and such things. These things are even said about sexy and feminine women. But if theyr boob size is under C or D they are not women enough and some feel the need to express that. I disagree. Many men prefer small boobs. I see teenage girls wanting to get breast implants because they think that no one is going to want a girl with small boobs.
Ohh well. Im off topic. This is just one thing that frustrates me and something that came to my mind when reading this topic. I feel lucky that I am happy to have a small chest and wouldnt want it any other way 😛

Damn that sucks! Have you tried leaning to the side when doing pole sit like stuff.? That way you grip with the front of one thigh and the back of the other. 🙂

Wow you are crazy gettign a piercing on your foot with all that poling hehe. Looks good ! 🙂

I guess when it is healed. I was asking on a body mod forum. And they gave me crap answer. When it is healed. I wanted to know how I know when it is completely healed. Since it might take shorter or longer then the average. Blahh Hehehe..
I still can't do anything holding with my thighs. It sucks! Its been 2 weeks since I had an actual pole practice and I only did a bit of strenght training yesterday.
I knew this when I got the tattoo but when it actually comes to waiting/healing time it is so much harder to wait then I thought it would be. 😛

Woohoo. Any other updates? I wish I could be there so much!!

Really? I have danced on a pole that was smaller then 38mm and had no problem gripping with my legs. But I dont ride horses either. Is there no way you could get used to it and adjust to the 45mm? Its not really a big difference I think. But then again I am used to 38mm.
I dont have small hands but I find hand grip really difficult on 50mm. Im really hoping to get used to it someday. I can however do anything on 38mm. Leg grips and armpit holds are just alot easier on 50mm but I dont think its worth it since I don't have any problems with those moves on a 38mm.
I say booo on 50mm. 😛 And a yay too because its just really comfy and super easy to do thigh holds on 50mm 😛

That would be so great!
I competed in Battle of the pole in Sweden where they used a 50mm pole.
I know the european championship uses 50mm
World championship have a spinning 38mm and static 50mm pole.
The Icelandic championship had I think was a bit thinner then 38mm.
Do you know what other competitions are using? If we could get a good list it would give a pretty good idea of what is being used 🙂

Thats great 🙂 How long did you wait after getting the tattoo until you started poling? I just got mine 5 days ago and its peeling right now and the wait is not easy!

I just got 2 new tattoos 😀 Very happy. Except that one of them is on my thigh where I grip the mose when doint pole sits, car and thigh holds. It will be hard not do use that part of my thigh for some time. And not looking forward to having the pole burn all over again. But I love how it looks hehe 🙂 Just hope that the pole wont ruin it.
Do any of you have a tattoo on a place on the body that you use heavily on the pole and has it faded or anything?

Oh and after a few months I was also really close to the front splits only from doing 10 – 15 minutes of stretching after each pole practise. I wasn't even focusing on it. Wich is another good reason to not give up. Even if you won't reach the level you want to you will really get a better looking and functioning body 🙂 And you never know. Alot of us polers if not most of us have become better on the pole then we ever thought we would 🙂

I was in really bad shape when I started. I was like my instructor said, a skinny fat girl heheh. I couldn't do one pull up on the pole or one push up, I was so weak and stiff and hadn't done any exercice since I was a little kid. I always hated sports and thought it was time to get in shape.
In 2 months I could already see difference, both strength wise and in the mirror.
Just keept at it when you have the time and you wont regret it 🙂

Also. One more reason to dance to the music now is that you dance better. At least that is the case for me. The more I like the music the better my dance will be. 🙂

Do it now and do it again when you get better! 🙂
I just did a dance to a song that I danced to a year ago. And it's really fun to see the improvement. I just made a before and after blog here on SV 🙂
Check it out. 🙂 Would be fun also if more would do the same 🙂
Dance to the same song you did and video it and make a before after blog 😀 1 month/ 6 months/ year / since you first started / whatever 🙂

Love the idea of imagening pulling the pole down. Never thought of that! 🙂
I like the cupped grip the best. It was very scary at first and I used the grip Veena uses while I was becoming comfortable with shouldermounts. Then I tried the cupped grip again and it is my favorite. Im so much stronger with that grip. Although I have seen that some other grips seem better for certain combos and its on my to do list to get the princess grip(i think thats the one) to be able to do a few combos that I have always wanted to do.

You can add this to your warm ups before each pole practise to gain strenght for the shouldermount. I call it shouldermount knee lifts. It is almost the same as the shouldermount.
Get in the shouldermount position. Use any grip you like and bring your knees up to your chest and do it about 10 times. Then as this gets easier you can focus on lifting your legs up to your elbows and eventually all the way up 🙂 Hope this helps.

MemberApril 8, 2011 at 4:05 pm in reply to: My pole makes clicking sound on spin. What to do?I took the pole down. The sound came from either the top dome or the top xjoint. So I took it down and reinserted the locking pins on the xjoint and put it back up. Spent about 15 minutes leveling the pole 🙂 It felt like forever and tighened the pole less tighter then I had before and the sound stopped! 😀
Im so relieved !
Thank you 🙂

Wow ! 2 weeks that is amazing! Congrats 🙂 took me 2 months and still dont always get them. Need to start stretching everyday again to maintain my splits and hopefully get some oversplit. 🙂
