I found it a lot less painful then the kneehold (which I still can only endure occasionally). I’ve only done daredevil close to the ground, and got into it the same way as the kneehold. If I can get over the fear of hanging face down, I’ll prob. try it higher up next week.. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

LOL! I’d love to know if it translates as easily to skinnier poles. (Since I’m on a 34mm https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif ). So keep us posted!!!! Fight that gremlin! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif LOL https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

Wooo V! Awesome that you got it!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
I thought I was super strong, but I’m clearlly wrong. I’ll keep trying!
Although, when I try it from flag, I have my hips twisted, and still don’t get it…
If you say so, I’ll keep trying https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif -
I second this Q!!!
I can get into BM from flag mount, by kicking up. But up the pole, it’s a whole different thing. So if anyone has any tips/pointers, I’d love to hear it!BTW. There’s a YT tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49xIeuRPe_U

that song was what she imagined was playing while D. walked down the street, her theme song
Lol! That reminded me of Ally McBeal https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif Fond memories https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
But my own themesong, I’ll have to give that some thought…

CKR=Cross Knee Release https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif
Congrats! CKR is such a beautiful move!!!! I don’t think your question is stupid at all. I was wondering the same thing about CKR myself. I think it’s at least preferable. But I’ve honestly never tried it on my non-dominant side. Not sure why. Cause I can do other leg holds like gemini and cupid on both sides just fine. Guess I never thought about it..
Anyway, learning it both sides now will prevent you wishing later on you could do it both sides when you want to combine moves. So I’d firmly recommend it!
Added happy dance for getting CKR: https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_bounce.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_compress.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

I can only tell you what it says on x-pole’s UK website:
X-Poles vary in weight depending on the type of pole and the material it is made of.
In their carry cases X-Poles weigh between 15 ~ 20Kg (33 ~ 44lbs).
However, with the heavier poles (XPERT) the weight is split into a tube case and the base and upper case.
Maybe there is someone who has that specific pole and has weighed it, but otherwise, this at least gives you a general idea.

(As far as I remember) I get a email notification when someone replies to my comment on a vid too. But only if they use the ‘reply’ option right under my original comment. As was mentioned before you are also notified when someone comments on one of you own vids. Mini is right about the blog comments/replies, those don’t generate a notification (as far as I know).
Chem, that’s a great suggestion!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumleft.gif I totally forgot about the favorite videos https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_geek.gif

Found a vid of aerial (basic) invert: 0:37 in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Mwm-Zdsgzo

Ok, so it’s an inverted move? Or do you mean the transitional move in between? Or the invert itself?
It sounds like an aerial basic invert(?) https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_idea.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_question.giflol, I’m not getting it, am I? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif
