I heard that it may not be that good for those with larger chests. I have the tula top and the front of it dips down really low! I'm afraid my boobies will come out and I'm like a -A lol… less support when you criss cross the strings also…

More interested in trick technique 🙂 Still trying to figure out how to do a proper tumble/inside leg hang switches (where ur body goes all the way around the pole?)/scorpio to TG aysha/ proper deadlift techniques/ how to werk w/ the spinny pole…
Mostly interestedin ppl's experiences too…

lil mynx powder coated is really grippy! I'm actually considering getting one to add to my collection of poles lol! I think you can also get it in +/- spin mode. If you already have a chrome, I'd get a powder coated.
-
Also, Pole Physics is supposed to be a lotion for polers that doesn't cause slippage..
-
Not sure if your dry skin affects your grip on the pole, but if it does, you can try .. a spray for poling for ppl w/ dry skin..
-
Ahhhhh!!!! I wanna learn how ta do that!

Good god, I hope they have name tags that we can wear throughout the day so we can find and identify each other! lol Maybe i'll suggest it… https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

I have this same problem! Part of it is slippage, however. But if you google things like "how to increase gip strength" you'll find a lot of info

Totally off subject, but anyone might know where Jenyne got the criss-cross top from? I've been looking for it foooorever!!
Awesome Fang! Hoping to achieve it one day 😉

lil mynx does do custom poles at no extra charge (customizing it to less than 8ft)

This is exactly the same problem i have! The primary reason for me is b/c my pole at home is slippery even tho its the same EXACT pole as in the studio… for whatever reason. I can't do the same hold at home, as I can in the studio (kinda frustrating).
Also, I think that there is the human element of it. Like, I probably couldn't do all the same excercises at home as I do in the gym.. I think the presence of other people sometimes creates a better focus/execution of moves/motivation.

If you want something that can go up and come back down in the blink of an eye I'd say lil mynx all the way. One of my studios uses mynx's and there are regular dance classes in between our pole dance class and my instructor pops the mynx's up in a matter of minutes (I can pop my mynx up in about 10 seconds). I have both the xpert and 2 mynx's and I like the mynx better… esp if you have standard 8-9ft ceilings.
-
wow, have never had a problem w/ lil mynx… best of luck!
-
I've often asked myself the same question. And for me, I think you can call yourself a poledancer once you perform in front of people/an audience + how long you've been practicing and how committed and passionate you are about it.

How is the tg working out? Are you able to stick to it better?

Just wanted to make sure: So I usually catepillar up using my right elbow to grip (and left arm down) But when you're doing the iron x from the extended aysha, you grip with your LEFT elbow (I noticed in karol's videos that she does this), and come down away from the side of your elbow grip?

Hi,
so the chat sessions are every Monday 11am pacific standard (california) time in the united states?

Yes, I feel I have the same problem.. kinda hurts (pinchy) if I flex a little too far up or down. Started with my right wrist, but now it seems like I have a little bit of this pain in my left (ulnar)side as well. Not sure what's wrong. I've been off it for about 4-5 weeks already.
@amy… how did they find out that you have something dislocated or that you've torn connective tissue? Do you have to have an x ray or MRI? MRI can see connective tissue but x rays can't?
Also, when ppl are referring to a "physio" do they mean physical therapist? They can diagnose?

RIP most definately…

hmm.. probably already saw your ex already hehe.. but basically the formula for weight loss is energy expenditure must exceed caloric intake. You can probably calculate your basal metabolic rate (a simple formula) and see what that is and adjust caloric intake based on that. And of course exercise helps to shed weight and keep healthy, as well as strength training can help you look more toned 🙂 best of luck! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif
