Yes both ends are flush against flat (and parallel) surfaces and I used a level and verified the pole was perpendicular to floor and ceiling.

There is no question the poles are warped. I verified this by taking it apart and rolling the poles across a flat surface (tested with known straight objects) and sure enough, they don’t roll flat. It is the 2 long or "Main" poles that show warping.
