I work as a sales associate at a major worldwide jewelry company and have been with the company since 2006. Sell diamonds and design jewelry all day…fun! 🙂 I’m also a DCA certified diamondtologist (basically I know a lot about diamonds and pity the man thats gonna buy me that ring hehe) and have an Associates Degree in Fine Art specializing in graphic design, which I hope to turn into a Bachelors or Masters one day 🙂

She even shows all her fellow ballroom dancers my pole videos 🙂 (oh yea, and let me put a pole in the middle of the living room!)

I live in the middle of nowhere Rhode Island, we hardly have a studio, nevermind competitions lol!!! So I hear where you guys are coming from! Wish there were competitions and events up here! Cant wait to hear who got in for amateur, I was blown away by the level of difficulty in the submissions! Suspense is killing me!

I’m right there with Charlie, I used to get soooo mad when I didnt get in, but I also had a lot of negative people (ex boyfriend…ugh) putting things in my head too. Im in a better place in my life now, so I submitted again, why not, right? Doubt ill make it, but you can’t win if you dont play right? I saw some incredible videos and wish everyone the best of luck!!! 🙂 im not letting competitions make me who I am as a dancer, if some day I get to compete, great, if not, I’m going to keep going. 🙂

David Owen, made me bend in ways I didn't think I could! I've noticed great increases in my flexyness since his workshop! He is very good at explaining and spotting on hard tricks 🙂
In a perfect world I would train with these two every day!

Awesome! If only I had a taller pole!

Very good points ladies! All studios I have taught at I just showed up in a track suit with pole gear and was prepared to demonstrate and teach. Shame on me I suppose! All I was asked to do was to put on some music and whip out my best tricks though, and hardly got asked any questions about my syllabus. Hmmmm…
