Roxy thought this would make a good thread. I'll start it off with my original post: If you are proud of your bruises, you may be a pole dancer. If you can't find shorts that are short enough, you may be a pole dancer. 🤔 If you spend more time watching women pole dance than the man in your life, you may be a pole dancer. 🙄 If you hear a song and immediately rate it for pole compatability, you may be a pole dancer. 🤸 If you have spent any amount of time trying to convince someone that pole dancing is different than stripping, you may be a pole dancer. ☀️

If you walk past your husband in platform heeled black boots a bra and teeny shorts and he glances at you and then goes back to whatever he was doing- you may be a pole dancer

Yoga- LMAO! I think I've got the bug! 😂 😂 I am not a "girlie girl"; my shoes are more function than fashion. I have 3 pairs of hiking boots, 4 tennies, 3 casual shoes, 3 sandals, 2 work flats, and only 2 pairs of heels: a low heel for weddings and such and my 5 inch pleasers (and I've got my eyes on some knee highs). Perhaps I could find a platform hiking boot for tree dancing? 👍

Shrew--hahahaha! I'm the exact same way! Mostly I own flip flops (having lived in FL and now NV) with the occasional winter boot or sneaker, but now I seem to be watching my collection of stripper shoes grow. It's so easy to find great dance shoes here in Las Vegas--girls here wear them as their regular shoes! But definitely keep me posted if you find platform hiking shoes...

LMAO 😂 I'm in the process of doing that! 😀 All the furniture is out, new hardwood floor replaced the carpet, now I'm just repainting it (needed to be done, this place hasn't been touched since the 80's) and then I'll throw in the pole 🙂 Also... you may be a pole dancer if you assess the weather each day wondering how it will affect your grip more than to see what you should wear 😛

...you have to explain to other people, especially doctors and anyone that sees you unclothed, why you are bruised so bad. ...people have thought you were abused from all your bruises. ... you're asked "what's new?" and the first thing that goes through your head is the move you nailed the other day. ... you start a detailed description of your last practice with non-polers, easily forgetting that they don't know what you're talking about when you say "inverting", etc. ... 5 words: "No, I'm not a stripper." (for the people who aren't club dancers here, of course) ... you get the biggest grin whenever people ask you if you work out. ...you won't buy certain shoes because you're afraid the buckles or whatever may scratch your pole. ...your husband/boyfriend doesn't bat an eye when he walks in the room and you're hanging upside down. ...you get strange looks from people when you're going through the store shopping for work-out clothes saying things like "no there won't be enough skin showing if I get that one!" ...you have a huge bookmarks/favorites list in your web browser for pole dancing. ...you dream about pole dancing and/or pole in your sleep. ...you can dance in those 6-inch clear heels, but can't walk across the room in them. ..."Peek-a-boo" is a bad word... won't even say it to a baby. ...you have to think long and hard about how to respond to the question "So, what do you do for fun?" ...you've answered the door in your pole workout clothes and made whoever was there blush. ...you know exactly, to the second, how long it takes for you to take down your pole when company is on their way over. ...your child's behavior on the fireman pole on the playground has been the reason for several parent-teacher conferences.

Fabulous thread!!! If your day time shoes are falling apart but you find yourself passing up buying "real" shoes because you would rather spend your money on hot red stilettos you might be a pole dancer! If you judge every house by its flooring and ceiling height, you might be a pole dancer!

You may be a pole dancer if you stopped using lotion because it makes you too darn silky smooth - you have tricks to do! You may be a pole dancer if you just can't find mirrors big enough. You may be a pole dancer if someone asks if your heels are stripper shoes and you say "No! Those are my workout shoes!" You may be a pole dancer if you have ever replaced carpet with a hardwood floor so you could be more stable in your heels.

love this! everything i have read is SO TRUE, and frikin funny! you may be a pole dancer if your bf/husband's new pet name for you is "computa" because you spend every waking moment on the computer watching vids you may be a pole dancer if you went to a strip club for the first time, not for the naked girls, but to pick up some "professional" moves then realized the difference between a pole dancer and a stripper (no disrespect, they are just very different) you may be a pole dancer if you are willing to loose you security deposit on your apt in order to keep your crappy flirty girl pole up despite the hole its drilling through your ceiling ...nothing to creative here, couldn't compete with the funny arse stuff already said haha...
