Xpole Xpert: Everyday Removable?

Hello Everyone!!!! Soooo after spending months watching all of you lovely ladies here on studio veena, I am FINALLY going to get a pole of my own!!! I have decided on the 45mm Xpole Xpert. But I have one small reservation. I want this pole to be removable. I put it up when I want to use it and take it down when I'm done. However after watching the assembly videos it seems like that is going to be a major pain in the tush to do everyday. Soooo my question is, How difficult (or easy) is it really to put up and take down this pole. Does anyone else take it down repeatedly? Any insight would help. Thanks Bunches!!!!!

I have the xpert but I don't take it down everyday. It's really easy to do once you get used to it and only takes me 5 minutes usually. If you have space to store it you could take it down but keep the pole in one piece so it's easier to put back up.

The x pole takes the longest to put up and take down of all the poles out there. Not too long though once you figure it out. If you take it down everytim, you need to be double/triple sure you are tightening the joints evenly and super tight when you do put it up. You don't want to strip the joints.

i can put an xpole up in less than 5 minutes. once all the pieces are together, and you know what height to set it to, all you need to do is check the joints for tightness, screw the pole up to the ceiling, make sure it's level, set it with three screws, and pull up the adjuster cover. we regularly set up 4 poles in less than 15 minutes.

Thanks Everyone! I really appreciate the advice. I think I might just take off the extensions and store the rest in the closet to make it easier. Hopefully I will learn to do it as quickly as you ladies do. Im super excited to post my first beginner video so I cant wait!!

After you've put it up once or twice it's really easy to do, but like amy said you have to remember to check the joints every time. I can't wait to see your first video and good luck! :)

Just to clarify I believe what SensualScimitar is referring to is complete disassembly. if you can leave your XPert pole in one piece - you can set it up in under 5 minutes and take it down in about 30 seconds. If you leave it in one piece it is probably actually very easy as you simply stand in front of it and wind it up or down by turning the pole itself. You can easily story it in one piece under a bed, in a closet, behind a door or in back of the couch if you need it out of the way. Checking joints though should be done every day, even if you leave it up all the time. Once you get use to assembling an XJoint you seldom have it slip out of alignment. Mine have not budged or had to be fixed since last August!!! And the new styled XJoints are even better!

Once you set the height it is very easy to set up and take down. As other have said, less than 5 minutes after that first time. I have had mine up and down probably about 5 times in the last month. I just leave all the main pieces together and take the top dome and cap off.

Remember...if you have a closet in your pole room or under the same ceiling the height of the closet is the same as your main ceiling. So your pole will fit in there...depending of course on how crowded your closet is. We fit 5 poles plus other equipment in the closet in our studio.

i move mine around frequently with not much difficulty. just remember checking the joints will save you a big headache later.
