x-pole wont come down

I just got my x-pole. Hooray! Luckily I was able to get it up with no problems. The problem came when taking it down. I unscrewed the adjuster screws (not all the way off) to bring the A pole down but when spinning it clockwise to bring it down, it got stuck, It will not budge past a certain point. I have tried WD40 with no luck. Have contacted xpole with no luck yet. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this problem?
