xpole stuck - please help

ok so i got my new xpole and tried to take down my old one. I realized after releasing it from the ceiling I couldn't get the 2 pole lengths apart so I put it back up and tried to untighten them with the releasing rods but instead ended up bending the rods. I've heard brute force won't work but to use the shock method. Can someone explain that. My husband is getting upset with me 🙁

Thats a common problem witch is why they sell the big nudger release rods, allot bigger and they dont bend! Veena may sell them too, they should really replace the kit rods with the commercial ones, i have bent every set ive had! 🙁 so see if you can buy the big release rods via x-pole 😀 they are great! 😀

after putting it back up then try to tap on the rods with a hammer which we didn't think worked we took it down and the pieces unscrewed easy with just my hands. YAY!
